Ordered for the first time to feed 7-8 people. Overall was pretty good, but wouldn’t call it great. Ribs were loved by everyone. Falling right off the bone. Sauce was great. Coleslaw very good. Fries good. Beans bad. Cornbread a bit dry. Wings were very good but they should label the boxes. We had 4 different types, one with the wrong sauce (we ordered honey garlic and got some weird lemon pepper type), and everyone was guessing which flavour was which (spicy vs not spicy etc.). I’ll probably give them another shot. Again overall good but when you pay $180 for takeout you have high expectations.
We have been to the Big Bones BBQ in Barrie and Newmarket quite a few times. The food is awesome, well except, not a fan of their corn bread. All the other food we have eaten at both locations has been fabulous. Every one that has come with me, every time, has agreed. The staff is also fun and efficient. Love this place.
The best BBQ rib and wings place I’ve ever tried hands down. The food and price are just right. The smoked wings and ribs are amazing and so flavourful don’t forget to try their corn bread. I’ve tried two of their locations now, but I prefer this place as it’s the original. It’s a must try if you love your BBQ, Mondays are the special!
OMG, Big Bone BBQ is one tasteful BBQ ribs I have try. You can taste they working hard and time they take to make its smokey flavor BBQ ribs, so tender and so delicious. Chicken wings also taste great, flavor not overly. Coleslaw salad make me surprise, most coleslaw salad I tried are over sour, and some are over dressing, but Big Bone make it big different, no sour, little sweet, but not over taste, and you can feel it's fresh make. Corn bread is so good also, you can taste a sweet corn flavor inside it. Pull pork also very flavorsome, tender and juicy. Big Bone is one i very highly recommended for everyone to try.
Always beyond perfect. Extremely consistent, great quality food in very generous portions. I'm not a wing person by any means but if somebody offers me a trip to Big Bone I'm THERE. They are so perfectly crispy, the signature BBQ sauce is so flawless that I have honestly never tried another kind. Just try it, you don't regret it. I promise I'm not being paid to say this hahaha I just genuinely love this restaurant.
Really enjoyed the food, meats were very tender and flavourful. Service was really good as well. This is mostly a take out place but they do have a few tables inside. Good value for money, we got one of the mixed trays for $64 for three of us and ended up having another full meal from the leftovers.

Stopped there on my way back home to experience what they have to offer and it didn't disappoint. I've had the Elvis platter (Ribs, Wing, Pulled Pork) and wow it was so delicious!The smoke flavor, tenderness and portion size were amazing and satisfying. The staff were extremely friendly and inviting. Go visit them and enjoy some great BBQ!!
The food is outstanding and you can see the care and thought that goes into the preparation by the staff whether you chose to dine in our take out! I would highly recommend this place and worth the drive up!
