Amazing service is the first thing you think when you go to the chip wagon. They always greet you with a smile. Just recently I have noticed that their portions have gotten a bit smaller and I'm assuming this is done because of all the economic stress so I couldn't give it a full five but I do respect the fact that they don't want to raise their prices so instead they give you just a few less fries. They do have an award for best poutine in the city (from 2011) but it still holds true. Every time i go it's a consistent great meal that you can expect to be great every time.Their prices are very good, I think the cheapest price-to-portion ratio I've seen in the city.So please, when you go, please put a little something in that tip jar, because that deserve it.
I had a craving for their poutine and was quite disappointed, I got a medium poutine with extra cheese. The box was half full, the fries were undercooked, the extra cheese would of been adequate as regular cheese on an actually full medium poutine. I will not be returning to this location, when I have a craving for a good poutine. They only take cash or e-transfer. Maybe ill go back in 5 years to give it another shot, if it's still open.

what a happy accident coming across this wonderful chip truck my wife and I ordered med fries egg rolls and shrimp special with a coke under 20 bucks and I'd pay double that for this tasty meal friendly service
After seeing such good reviews for this place I was eager to try it out. The lady that was taking the orders was so kind so we proceeded to order two poutines. The wait time wasn't too long either but they had a setup of tables outside so we sat until the food was ready. The quality of both poutines was great, the fries were fresh and overall it was super tasty. I would definitely revisit the next time I return to Ottawa!

Found this place on our journey through all the ottawa food trucks, been back a couple times now. Poutine and fries are good. Italian sausage is best in the city that ive found. The couple running the food truck are very kind and friendly. Prices are decent for food truck. Menu selection is good but ive only tried the food truck stuff (hot dogs, sausages, poutine, etc). Highly recommended if you are in the area and are hungry for a good street meat or poutine.
Worked in the plaza for 4 years, hands down best poutine. Great food, fresh, excellent quality. Haven't been back in months, but here's to the future!
