I have received the same order from almost every Thai Express in Ottawa. I ordered the same thing at college square and it was the wrong order. No big deal people make mistakes, however went I went back to have it corrected the cashier started telling me it was right before she even removed the lid. There was some kind of brown sauce on my rice that was not curry. I asked for a refund and there was no way this cashier was going to do anything but make it as difficult as possible for me. Thai Express is great but avoid the college square location at all cost
Twice I’ve come here and twice I’ve been disappointed. All I can say is don’t get curry. It’s been a year and a half since the last time and it still tastes gross. Other Thai express’ are great, just this one’s wasn’t, twice.The pad thai was good, I think it’s just curry that sucks. Or I’m unlucky and they give me something the other locations don’t.
I order from the one on clyde all the time and its amazing but the one day i crave it theyre closed so i ordered from the one in college square and I instantly regretted it, the veggies weren’t cooked at all my chicken was so crunchy hard it was disgusting! There was also hardly any sauce and no flavour to it at all. I will never be ordering or going there again!
The last 3 times I’ve went I’ve asked for general Tao spicy only to come home and it’s just plain no taste no spice. This location is terrible. Won’t be going back.
The lady at the cash knew what I was asking about,the menu on display tells you something and when you order it, turns out to be the other way around, previously when I visited this place a few months ago I was told that the meat is HALAL and when I visited now, they said it isn't, service is fair but the information displayed and provided is worrysome...
Honestly, I'm a big fan of Thai express. I love their food. This location is probably the worst I've been to in the city. They've messed up my order so many times. I always get the exact same dish, but for so.e reason nobody knows how to cook the dishes properly at this location. It's not absolutely horrible or anything just very disappointing. I ordered $40 worth of food and all of it was wrong.I hope they get someone in to fix this issue. Best of luck.
Have been disappointed many times!!!This will be the last time I come here.Got a beef curry dish lack of flavour (SUPER PLAIN!!!). The meat was overcooked, dried and tasted like pork more than beef
Portion is generous, food is tasty. Tried a few Thai Express and this is by far the best one. Try it out for yourself and see.
STAY AWAY, ordered the new general thai ghost and thai my salad.The cooks don't even know their own menu, they forgot to put the egg and the ghost sauce so I had let them know.They took the food back put the egg on top and they gave me sriracha packages without even remaking the meal!Unprofessional and against Covid regulations.They even charged me 35 cents to put my meals in a bowl even though the salad already comes with a bowl.Ridiculously low quality customer service.It may look nice and perky in here but steer clear.Clyde location beside the walmart is way tastier and better than this new spot.Get some more competent people in this place for your own good.
