Tried San Marino for the first time after several recommendations.I ordered a large meat lovers and the meat was well flavoured and generous toppings. The crust was light and flavourful while the cheese did not overwhelm the rest of the flavours, as is common with Ottawa style pizza. The sauce was the best I have had in Ottawa with the presence of nice herb flavours balancing the tomatoes.The price point is up there but worth it for the quality and the care of a small business.I will definitely be ordering again.
This is our go-to pizza place. Delicious crust and generous toppings! We weren't too impressed by the subs however.

Not even worth 1 star. Pizza was terrible, customer service was even worst. I do not recommend spending a dime here.
This is my favourite pizza place ever…they are able to get the cheese a little crispy, which is just amazing.

San Marino pizza in thankfully had power during the aftermath of the bad storm we just had on the weekend. I went there hoping that they had power and was glad that they did. They were working at such a frenetic pace and yet still manage to cook for extra large pizzas in just under 30 minutes. I took the pizzas home to a house full of gas and friends who needed a safe place to shower in charge devices. The pizzas were fantastic and one of my guests commented that you didn’t have to search the pizza for the ingredients compared to some of the big chains. The pizzas were fantastic and generous with ingredients. Worth every penny! Glad to support a local business.
The pizza was good, not great. I would come back for sure but I wouldn't go out of the way for this pizza. We ordered the San Marino Special w/olives in half. It didn't seem like the olives and other toppings were distributed very well. Most of the staff didn't wear masks and none of them wore hair/bead nets. Not a huge deal but a consideration.
Ordered a L pizza (15”). It looked way too small in the car and when we got home we measured to check. I called the restaurant politely to let them know they made the wrong size and the owner yelled at me on the phone after he cut off a younger woman who was actually helping me. I asked to speak to her and he refused. This gentleman said he was the owner and continued to yell at me. He said he is the owner, he cut the pizza himself (but they were poorly cut) and that they ran out of large pizza boxes so that’s why the pizza looks small… he didn’t care that I measured it and it showed 13” (a medium pizza is 12” and a large is 15”… so definitely not close to a large). His argument was a lie as our box is clearly a large box, stamped with a 15” underneath to prove it. We used to order from here religiously and we are so disappointed we will not spend our money here again and we will advise our friends, families and social networks to the same.
