The fellow at the counter was so full of personality! His name was Fry too! Really like eating out of the box rather than the cup! Fried were delicious as usual!
Food is fine, I have no qualms with that, it's the staff. I went previously, the girl was ON her phone in the middle of making food, then went to touch the food. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands, and with her hands still on the box she rolls her eyes and goes "yeah" with teenage snark. Then she complains to her worker about it.I just came a second time. Same girl. No smile, no customer service, just dead stare at me, I order one item, she just stares! Doesn't ask if I want anything else! She has black floors hair in a ponytail. Then a guy was working too, I watch him wipe the sweat off his forehead with his hand, wipe it on his apron, then proceed to work.These kids need to learn hygiene and sanitary work. Not even just because of covid, but that's just plain disgusting. I won't be coming back until they learn to work with food (pretty sure they need their Food Handlers, doubt they do) and how to deal with customers.Don't care if it's "fast food" and blah blah blah. It'd food. They need to learn to wash their hands and smile. They're providing a service, they should do it properly or get a job at a call center and be rude there. Would suit the girl, she gets to be on a phone all day.
I was there this afternoon and was fooled by a tall fat server/preparer. I ordered naco fries and was given a plain fries. I questioned the guy who then fooled me that nacho fries was a large fries and handed to me without any toppings. It was a hurtful experience for me as I was fooled by a low class server.Hope the owner reads this before an irate customer is served by the same guy. I still feel that I was robbed.
As an employee in Bayshore mall I’m in the food court five days out of the week and New York Fries is one of my go to stops for lunch. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and always welcoming, and the food is amazing. If you’re stopping by Bayshore Shopping Centre New York Fries is a must for ball park/hockey game style hot dogs and some of the best poutine and fries served by friendly people!
Outstanding customer service . This evening my daughter and I were out for dinner and my daughter spilt her drink and was very upset without second thinking the young gentleman at cash poured her a new one. He went above and beyond. You don’t see this often anymore especially in fast food. Thank you again to this young gentleman you made my daughters evening.
I recently ordered via DoorDash and ordered a regular poutine. Upon receiving my order, I took a bite and immediately knew the gravy was not the same. I called the location and spoke to Gabby who confirmed the gravy had been temporarily changed and confirmed the new gravy is meat based. As a vegetarian, this is highly disturbing that a product advertised as vegetarian was so carelessly swapped without any disclosure whatsoever.
