Meets my expectations of a classic diner breakfast. Modest prices. Excellent grilled homefries but they sometimes run out of them if you get there too late in the morning.Had to nag him repeatedly for refills of coffee because waiter was not very attentive, a bit sleepy.
Very cute classic diner with great breakfast. Potatoes finished on the flat top had a super yummy crust, eggs were well cooked and the service was great! Will be back to try lunch and dinner! Thanks!
Best breakfast in the west end! I've been going here for as long as I can remember. Used to have lunch with my dad here when I was younger. Just an awesome family owned and operated business. Amazing staff! Excellent food! You really feel welcomed and known when you go. Not just a number kinda feel. Love it! Highly recommend.
Mellos gets five stars for delivering exactly what they promise - which is food at a reasonable price. The décor is dated and the style of food old fashioned, but it serves a specific demographic - I could imagine someone coming here for breakfast, lunch and dinner, even if they were on a budget and doing quite well. I could see myself being a regular here and they do have a lot of regulars and they know their names. They do what they do well.

What a cute place. It is a little diner and it is very authentic. I will definitely return. The prices are very affordable and the food quite good. I really enjoyed their turkey Noodle soup. Had a tangy flavor like lemon was added. I had the fish and chips special which included the soup and rice pudding. All very tasty. Sorry the food is already being eaten. But it was good. Did I mention that?
