Better Mary Browns than many in Newfoundland, have had take out and delivery. Constantly awesome service and delicious chicken, taters, deep fried pickles.. etc. Great staff!
I bought the beyond meat burger, chicken burger and poutine paid about $30ish something for my orderI was hungry and craving for a poutine the most, but I'd had to say their poutine is the worst in all ottawa. The gravy was so salty that I had to throw it away after 2 bites. Honestly a waste of my $13.Rest all was good, the beyond meat new option they had was definitely delicious. But I will never go there again.
I came and ordered a 3 pieces, when start eating it was 2 pieces. i went back and tell them. they apologize and offered me the third one. unfortunately, I was mistaken. they gave me 3 pieces but the third one was under potatoes ships. I went back and apologize and offered to pay the extra one. they said “do not worry”this happened on April 28 2022best branch and so professional customer service.wish all restaurants are like that.
It's average but definitely not better than Popeye's which I still think is overpriced and overrated! Their spicy burger isn't cheap but comparing it to Popeye's chicken sandwich, Popeye's is tastier and much larger so Mary Brown's loses on both flavor and portion against Popeye's. When you pay this kind of money for fried chicken you expect to get good portions and they forgot to give me my medium gravy and didn't notice until I got home with my food to notice it. It's really tough to find good fried chicken and for the price you pay, why not just go to KFC because Popeye's and Mary Brown's isn't worth the higher price. Atleast with KFC you get family meal deals where it's approx. 30-40% less and you gonna bet sh*tting that food out right after you eat it anyways! :-0

Awesome place for sandwiches. I always prefer big Mary brown combo. Which is tasty and reasonable. And the staff is also good and fast
Chicken and taters were very good. But the gravy was god awful. Tasted like it had some chemicals in it with a really unnatural aftertaste. It was like some soap fell in the gravy pot or something. It ruined the meal since we (stupidly) spread the gravy over most of the taters before hand.Not sure if it was just a bad batch of gravy or something happened... But don't plan on spending another $50 there to have a ruined meal. Don't recommend.
Paid almost 80$ for 13 pieces of chicken meal. Food arrived microwaved!!!!!!!!!!!! Old oil tasting taters and fries. As soon as the box of fries were opened and the moisture hit the air the fries shrank to pathetic and limp versions of fries. The coleslaw tasted like fridge. Can only imagine how long it sat there. Paid $80 which is a lot of money for chicken and fries, your standards should be the highest for that price. We threw out most of it I certainly wasn't comfortable feeding it to my children.
Service was quick! Staff was helpful with COVID restrictions. Food was fabulous. Frosty Feast was a great deal. Was my first time, won't be my last!
