I have had the Coconut Curry Chowder many times from the Mad Radish in the Glebe and it has always been thick and delicious. I just had it from the Barrhaven location and it was disgusting. It was watered down and flavourless. Not sure why the soup is so different between the two restaurants, but I wouldn’t recommend the Barrhaven location.
Loved the peri peri bowl with extra toppings of guacamole, everything was fresh, and you could feel the freshness, it was perfectly made, the customer service was amazing you could get positive vibes from the staff that the place is buzzing and the food experience would be awesome. , couldn't express my happiness on finding something so good and different in Ottawa that is Halal as well,..
We ordered here for dinner tonight and it was horrible. The portions were very small for the price being charged. The chicken was not cooked all the way. The coconut curry soup had no flavour and was meant to have vegetables in it there was a piece of carrot and one kernel of corn. The cookie was a blob of floury cookie dough. The only good part was the bread.
I am so incredibly disappointed. Tonight I ordered the fish bowl, and the fish was so dry it was chewy... The fish pieces were about 2-3inches they were so tiny. The rice was absolutely soaked in some sort of overpowering dill sauce. My entire dish was inedible.The Coconut Curry Chowder ended up being a freaking vegetable soup, so I would say that's pretty big.The sandwich was soaked through the bottom, but at least the flavour was good for that one.
Not only is the food amazing, but Manni, the manager, is generous and thoughtful! I ordered a meal through a food delivery app , and my order never arrived, and was delivered to the wrong address. I couldn’t get in touch with the driver. I was hungry and irritated lol. I called Mad Radish, in hopes that they would be able to contact the driver or the delivery app for me. Instead, Manny delivered another order for me. She went out of her way, and I will be forever grateful!
Food is amazing! Very healthy choices, needs to have more locations for sure!The manager Manny is also very kind and had great customer service!
Amazing food. The service can use some work, as some others have pointed out. There are a couple of employees who are consistently quite rude; do not acknowledge, argue about ingredients and justify not making alterations and substitutions etc. Some of the other employees ARE nice though. So it just depends on your luck who serves you. Come here for the great food, but prepare to be thick skinned with some of the employees. I am a regular and will definitely come back, but only for the food.I know that the owner reads these. If you do, please revise and retrain your employees. I have seen this treatment happen to others as well, not just me.
Ordered the bibimbowl a few days ago. I like the portion size as it takes me 3 meals to finish it (I have a small appetite). Took a star away because the service could be better. Had to wait before my order was taken because there was only 1 person at lunch time. You should put more staff for the lunch rush.
This is the best food I've had in a long time, I mean absolutely delicious and so healthy. I wish there were as many locations of it as there are traditional fast-food places, we would be a much healthier society - and without sacrificing taste. This location happens to have a very kind manager, Manny.
Food is always fresh and so tasty. I am unable to consume milk/soy and therefore appreciate the menu explicitly stating which allergen each bowl/salad contains. The staff are also super friendly, definitely a repeat customer ?.Ps: ginger cookies are the best!
