The pie is alright, but I had an issue with their payment policy.I have no issue with cash only, in fact, some of my favourite places are cash only. But they have cash-only signs. The gentleman told me it was cash only after he put the pie in the oven. He told me there is an ATM there, but we all know that ATMs have fees. It seems to me it is a symbiotic relationship between the two, the bakery and 5he ATM company.
As far as I am concerned Farhat's Bakery is the most delicious, friendliest, and most affordable Lebanese bakery in Ottawa. A must try for anyone going is a meat or chesse pie absolutely delicious.
It's not a bad store, at least some days the fresh bread smell is really nice!
Farhat's bakery makes traditional Lebanese oven baked pies in. ottawa. They have an amazing section of vegetarian pies - Spinach Pies, Cream Cheese and Olives, Zatar and vegetarian pies. Love thier Zatar and Veggie pies - Comes with Tomatoes, Onions and Green olives. Their pies are very much affordable and tasty. Do check it out.
The cheese pies have excellent cheesy flavor because they don't over bake them.
The best pie shop in Ottawa. Came back to this shop after 4 years and the pies tasted exactly how they used to taste 4 years ago. Highly recommend their Zatar and veg pie collections. Do check it out
The only place you can actually have something great for less than 5 bucks. But always get more because you'll regret not getting extra because it's so good

Farhats bakery feeds the neighbourhood with a smile! They have been a Meadowlands life saver since they opened. Always reasonably priced! Even considering how costly services are to run during covid. Hope that Farhats Bakery is open for generations to come.Gotta get that chilli and lemon on top too!
