Normally Great but I ordered a beef and chicken rice bowl and there was almost no meat or sauce. Basically a bowl of rice and broccoli stems.
I have had their food many times but over the last year, on three occasions there was sandy texture in their food. Imagine little bits of sand sprinkled on your food.The first time I figured maybe it was the Asian veggie mix. The 2nd time, I went back to the place and let them know about it because I love teriyaki, they were nice about it but they had no clue. I took a long break from this place. When I ordered once recently from the College square location, it was perfect. Tonight I was hungry, my family and I came home from a road trip. We picked up some Edo Japan food from 3181 Greenbank. It was sandy. I don’t know how else to describe it. Maybe it’s hardened bits of old teriyaki sauce, maybes it dirt, maybe it’s sand. If you experience this, please let them know so they can fix this issue.
I love the food so this is disappointing but the service is quite awful. It seems that Uber and skip are prioritized over everyone else which is frustrating because if I was willing to wait 30 minutes for my food I would’ve gone somewhere where the quality is up to par with the wait. The cashier didn’t even apologize for the wait even after the man who came in behind me got his meal. If I had ordered lots of food I wouldn’t have been so surprised but my meal was a mere chicken Chop chop and an order of avocado rolls.
Crazy good food. Delicious flavours. Fun to share at a party or a family event. Your tastebuds will not be disappointed.
Edo Japan is my go to for a filling noodle meal! I love their Shrimp Noodlefull which is something I've had couple of times and the taste has been consistently good. Sushi is good too and they have options of 4,8,12 pieces which is great if you want to sample a few! Tried their Miso Soup for the first time and liked it ?
Well packed and quick delivery services. Food is freshly made and the taste is great.
