A friend and I entered the only DQ in our area the other day. The cashier was nice to us and was in the middle of taking our order when her manager proceeded to come over and start yelling at her after she nicely asked a question. Manager then proceeded to walk over to another staff member and start insulting the cashier and her in front of us WHILE ON DUTY. Furthermore, another employee proceeded to insult said cashier as well saying “it’s not your fault, our cashier didn’t put it in the machine”. Our order was delayed by longer than it should have been due to the manager yelling about a mobile order and waving her hands around sarcastically.Overall, the ice cream wasn’t worth the sour taste I had in my mouth and I don’t intend to buy from this location again until either the management is changed, or the location is shutdown. This was so unprofessional and staff should NEVER be verbally abused by a manager like this, especially not in front of the customers.
Just went back today. Gave me the wrong blizzard and we couldn't use our gift cards. Service was not fast. Employee in the back not wearing mask but when she saw us she covered her mouth with her shirt.
Very slow experience. No one seemed to know what they were doing or cared. Just a few kids getting paid to hang out at work. Will avoid this location.
Very very disappointed in the my experience today. Staff were all making a whole lot of noise in the back & not paying attention to their job. I bought a #6meal , a double cheese burger. I only got one pattie on my burger & it was cold, it was the worst burger ive ever tasted. I could not even eat it it was so cold. I called the store but to get a refund i had to drive all the way bk to the store. Sad part is the lady said she remembered me. She should have offered to mail a credit. I used to go there all the time, dont plan on going back.
Asked for a Cookie dough blizzard, after waiting in line outside and inside (15-20 minutes) and said to myself > why not order a Poutine.got my blizzard within 4-10 minutes then had to wait 15 minutes for my poutine. Blizzard melted all over my hands so i asked if it was possible to get a new one since it would melt al over my car and may have been for another person. When I got it it was made with hate. And the lady didnt even fill it to the top. The first one was awesome. But the Quality of the second one was terrible made by the lady that i asked to remake it (if it was possible)The lady with the long Dreads, if you are reading this, i will not come back and wait because of you. Hopefully I was the only one that has had this problem.
Visit this place 4 times a week, awesome awesome people work there, super helpful and all the food, icecreams n cakes are delicious. Specially the freshly made poutine, onion rings and blizzards have no match. Always go there to order birthday cakes for the whole family.
Crystal and all of the stuff at Barrhaven Dairy Queen are the best! Everyone is super friendly and go above and beyond. Food is prepared fresh. I always look forward to coming here :)
I Love this Location cause this Location is one the quiet Place to enjoy Your DQ Meal and or any DQ Treat
It's like 40+ degrees here and what can be better the a DQ cone. The best thing about DQ is their consistency, it always tastes good. The store is clean, staff are friendly and they have a walk up window outside if that makes you a little more comfortable.
Crystal is the most friendly, fun, and talented especially when it comes to her cakes. She makes that location special IMO.
