Nothing but good things to say about my experience. Firstly, the friendliness of the owner is outstanding. I felt like I was back in Greece in a small village Taverna. The food was outstanding and the portions were huge. The sit down area is bare bones but that didn’t bother me. The atmosphere, food, and absolutely reasonable price more than made up for the spartan tables. Will be back the next time I am in Ottawa!
Few restaurants maintain the standard of business found at Cosmos. Incredible food, stellar service, and genuine appreciation of your patronage. It is an experience worth waiting for, but the speed of staff keeps customers entranced with their assembly line and the fresh aromas of spices with lamb, beef, and chicken. Do not miss the Baklava for dessert!!
One of the best takeout spots in Ottawa. Unbeatable value. Its fresh, good quality, delicious, and the proportions you get are massive for what you pay. Big fan of the gyro platter and lamb sandwiches.
Always great. The fries are not your standard fast food, the meat is always excellently cooked. Prices and portions are equally generous And of course, the service is always friendly.
We finally decided to try Cosmos after hearing recommendations from friends and family repeatedly. We placed an online order in the morning for pickup later that day and paid online so it would be ready after work, however upon arrival slightly after the pickup time our order was no where to be found. The kitchen, now overwhelmed with other dinner orders hadn’t even started our order yet. After over an hour of waiting we got our food, and when we got home we realized our baklava was missing from the order. half of the chicken skewers were overcooked and dry, and overall the food was underwhelming. If I could give half a star for french fry style potatoes i would, but everything else about our experience does not warrant anything more than 1.5 stars.TLDR: The food is decent but not rave worthy, definitely not worth the price. Service definitely needs improvement.
This place is a really good value for quick food in general. Souvlaki never disappoints, their take on Greek potatoes is absolutely delicious. Service here is ALWAYS fast and friendly. I've ordered here over 20 times in the past 2.5 years.Prices are great for what you get.
Food is great but maybe you should be more empathetic to your employees, especially the cashier who clearly is doing the best they can. Yes you are busy and you’re doing the best you can but when a customer overhears and sees how you speak to your employees… leaves a bad taste. Be a kind leader.
Very good customer service. Price is amazing for the portion (which can leave you two meals). I recommend to try them out if you are in the area ?
I can't stress enough how awesome these guys are. The food is 10/10, the price is great, service 20/10. They know my order, I ordered the wrong drink and they knew it so they sent me the right one. Extremely thoughtful, had an issue one time and they were quick to make it up. No complaints at all.
After a snafu with the delivery service, the owner, without hesitation, made a home delivery to bringing us our missing items himself. Cannot tell you how much this impressed me! Awesome food as well! Please encourage this restaurant, they deserve your business!
