Made reservation 3 weeks in advance. Graduation dinner for family, 6:30 reso! Ordered a vodka paralyzer, they could not make this? I asked what kind of bourbon do you have? Veronica our waitress replied we have Buffalo trace and southern comfort. I said that’s all you have? Veronica said she was just passing on the info from the bartender. I said great but, souther comfort is not a bourbon. Buffalo trace it is I guess. Ordered a spiced rum and coke, sorry no spiced rum! Service quite slow as well…. Dinner time 6:30 pm I order prime rib and everyone else ordered. I’m told they are out of prime rib. Manager Sam comes over, he informs me he works there 5 days a week and he is happy to make sure I get a great cut next time! That’s wonderful! Next time! I proceed to tell him about the issues ordering drinks and so many things 86d. Sam tells me they are a franchise and they only do what corporate tells them. I ended up ordering a rib steak for 47.00, very thin steak for 47.00 and it was so so. Another family member ordered Santa fe chicken, after a couple of bites we call over Veronica and explain it’s over cooked and very dry. Sam comes to the table and says what was wrong with the chicken, it’s explained. Sam asks would you like another Santa Fe ? No thanks, nothing else . Whole experience was not good, they keep saying sorry for the delay we are very busy. I ask for the bill and I pay, leaving 15% for bad service. Too top it all off, they charged me for the Sante Fe which was returned. Terrible experience, poor service, no premium bottles, food was mediocre at best. Hey BR better Stevenage up your game, look across the parking lot! Chop has your number. Best of luck to you. Short staff is not busy. Training training and training is key!

Positives: Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of drink choices.Negatives: Our appetizer was something we had never had before. Salmon Tartare? When we asked for a description we were told ‘it’s like crackers with a dip’. They brought out what looked like a salad with stale bread. We tried it, didn’t like it, not a knock on the chef or anyone, we just didn’t like it, wasn’t our thing. I ordered the Ribs and Shrimp. Shrimp was big and juicy and ribs were good but I found them small for the value. Wife ordered a 8oz steak (medium rare). I guess it was more on the medium side with no trace of rare. All in all the atmosphere was nice, the people were nice. But not really put taste …

Had bragged to grandson that he would be wowed by his ribs and shrimp, as I had always been impressed in past. But shrimp were not the usual. Maybe 26-30 size?Ribs and my chicken tender salad were excellent. I seem to remember fries being fresh-cut, could be wrong, but they're not. Then from the time our meals were served onwards, no server to be seen. Don't believe they checked on our meals. Certainly had to snag down a different server to have plates removed, and get dessert to go as we had other plans. Not the usual Baton Rouge experience, disappointedly. At those prices, not sure we'll chance it again.

Had lunch with a friend yesterday. We were greeted warmly and our server was very pleasant. The prime rib sandwich was quite disappointing . . . thin thoroughly cooked pieces which appeared to be warmed over. Not what I expect from a PRIME RIB sandwich in an upscale eatery with a pretty hefty price. I mentioned to the server that I had enjoyed much better prime rib sandwiches in the past . She spoke with the manager and conveyed the message that nothing had changed in the preparation of the meal. There didn't seem to be much concern that I was not happy with my sandwich. My friend had a very generously proportioned club sandwich which she enjoyed. The fries were hot and good.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND- great food and amazing serviceTo drink I had the Ruby Red Mocktail, it is the best drink I have had a restaurant. In fact, it was so good that I ordered a second one. It was the first time I have ever ordered a second drink [other than water].As for dinner, everything was cooked perfectly. My steak was the colour (medium) and had a beautiful sear. The definition of mouth- watering. The side of vegetables were delightful and the mashed potatoes were smooth and silky with great flavour. For dessert I had the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. It had a smooth texture with well balanced flavors, and it was not a dense cheesecake. The portion was good and the base was firm to support the cheesecake, yet soft enough that I was easily able to break it up with a fork. The quality of the service I received was excellent, and I cannot say enough good things about the them. Everyone was kind, accommodating and prompt in fulfilling requests. The venue itself is also very accessible. There are no obvious structural barriers that limit seating options and there are a variety of options for seating available to meet various accessible needsOverall I cannot wait to return again soon.

I cannot say enough about The Hunt Club Baton Rouge Restaurant.George and his incredible staff made our family gathering a magical moment that I will always remember. It was more than just the amazing food and it was amazing; it was the attentive but not overbearing service. It was like our servers could read our minds always there when needed with fast friendly service but at the same time giving us the space to reminisce with family members. The food was delicious I forgot just how good the ribs were and everyone I spoke with felt the same way for all the dishes that were served. The atmosphere and ambiance were also incredible. If anyone I know ever wants a recommendation on where to go whether it is for a cozy romantic dinner or a larger gathering of about 26-30 people like we had I will not hesitate to recommend this establishment as I know they will be well taken care of.Ron Haslam

Best ribs in Ottawa. Delicious and fall of the bone. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend

Disappointed! It was our first time going here as we were taken of the look of this place. At first we were enjoying the environment and drinks, looking forward to the food and the rest of the night. I took the servers recommendation to pick my dish, although it tasted nothing like “wow” and what he was describing! The side salad was made with cheap ingredients, nothing like you would expect to get at that type of restaurant with real Parmesan cheese! The cheese on the salad was dried processed cheese. I’ve had better salads with finer ingredients at Wendy’s! I know restaurants have been struggling with covid restrictions, though you don’t want to bring your food quality down, and or your service down and here your vaccinated customer is not coming back.Halfway eating my side salad, I found a long hair in my salad, so I brought it to my server’s attention he removed it and the manager came right up! Instead of apologizing and have courtesy, she started to defend her kitchen staff that the hair didn’t come from my kitchen staff! All I was expecting was customer service and courtesy which makes sense when you serve your customer a hair in their dish even though you didn’t purposely do it! So she replaced my salad with another cheaply made salad. When they brought my bill, they had charged me EXTRA for the side SALAD! Not even included in the meal’s price!!! Unbelievable! I was nice enough to not to make a big deal out of the hair which a lot of people get super grossed out and make huge deals. I told the server that the cost of the side salad is not a big deal but the rudeness of the management, not that they only defended their team but still charging me for side salad!!!I do not recommend this place! It looks nicer from outside then you get disappointed once you’re trying to have a good time inside. Don’t go here and drop min $100 for cheap quality food.

Maybe it was a bad night but spending just under $200 for a party of 4, we expected better. Waiter was good, not his fault. We waited an hour after ordering our food. When it finally did come, the large Caesar salad came with no dressing and 3 croutons, really??? The waiter brought a small cup of dressing, at our request. The shrimp/scallop dish was dry, chewy (overcooked) and cold. The ribs were also cold and the accompanying fries were undercooked, soggy and cool. The steak was good but surprisingly very small portion. I doubt we'd eat here again. They need someone checking their quality control.

Food and drinks were great, service was great, we got what we expected on that front. However, a message to the owner who brought your wife to the restaurant on Valentines Day, had the flowers and cocktails waiting for you:In the 2 hours we were seated, no less than 25 times did you have staff, servers, cooks, coming to say hi and chat with you… at the table next to ours. I was the one who got up and got my own knifes and forks for the table because there was no cutlery provided. Again, I’m sure there is a reason why your staff feel the need to leave their post serving clients and schmooze with you in excess, but seriously the excessive noise and “action” by the table took away from the meal with my wife. Just some advice.
