What a cool restaurant at this particular location in Ottawa. The whole building looks super cool and feels retro but modern at the same time. They have incredibly delicious hamburgers here at A&W. If you chose to dine at the restaurant, you can have you drink in a real frosted mug. And finally they have a delightful root beer that pairs quite well with the Sandwiches and fries served here. I would definitely dine at this restaurant location again.

I ordered 3 BEYOND MEAT combos not only they didn’t provide straws for my drink, it’s was way too salty all three onion rings we couldn’t even take a bite. It’s too bad.. but the staffs were nice ?
Every time I order (via Skip), they always get the instructions right, it's on time, and it's always warm & tasty. The root beer slushies are a tad pricey (I know, that's a corporate thing) but still worth it. Thanks for the continued, consistently good service!
Impressive is one word to describe my first visit to this A & W location, which made almost every other previous visit to a burger joint pale in comparison. There’s plenty of emphasis focused on the customer, to be treated as a guest. Each drive-thru customer was promptly greeted and served in an organized manner, which I noticed during my noon hour visit. This location was well equipped and staffed with at least nine employees (all wearing non-surgical masks). The customers appeared to be a middle class and educated crowd, with even seniors eating in (something I haven’t seen during the 21 months of the pandemic; proof of vaccination is required to use the eat-in section). I was greeted at the plexiglass counter by Christian, a young lad who also quickly assisted drive-in guests. Christian was also polite enough to take the few extra steps to place my eat-in tray on a sanitized table. There was also an extra employee assigned specifically to sanitize surfaces with a spray bottle and cloth, as I also noticed that the men’s washroom is almost spotless! The two Chubby Chicken Burgers may become my favourite A & W item, as the moist chicken fillet with lightly crisp coating was complimented by crisp lettuce and mayo, on a sesame seed bun. The Sweet Potato fries (with Chipotle mayo, also tangy and delightful) came piping hot, that definitely hit the spot! My favourite A & W meal so far to date! There’s an alcove inside where eat-in trays can be returned to be rewashed, along with recycling baskets, which cuts down on consumer waste. There’s also a Harvey’s Restaurant (a build-your-own burger chain) just a little more than a stone’s throw away, which is also my favourite burger chain, so it’s almost a coin toss. The A & W has extended breakfast hours (open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily), and a huge menu at this location, so there’s plenty of options available!
This is the slowest A&W drive through I've even experienced. It's always at least a 20 minute wait even with only a couple cars ahead. Clearly management must be lacking if they can't manage a decent drive through experience.
last few trips weren't all that great, asides from not being able to eat inside the restaurant, onion rings weren't cooked and the sanwiches were pretty tiny and soggy, and for a premium! Quality has taken a sudden dive. Used to be great
Very slow service. Staff are not very nice and prices are very high. Mcdonalds is 10x better.
Solid but astoundingly slow, everytime. Like tear your eyelids off slow.
No Ketchup or vinegar for French fries. How can you eat French fries without Ketchup or vinegar!? Never coming here again! Don't go.
