The General Tao chicken and fried rice with salted fish are really good! One of my favourite Chinese restaurants, but their prices are a tad bit higher then most others.
They have the best Deep fried Spicy Tofu! All their food is delicious.I have been going to Tremendous for at least 30 years. Was a favourite spot for me and my dad to meet twice a week for dim sum. So Tremendous will always be a special place to me.
I am so disappointed with our experience ordering from this restaurant. It was by far the worst Chinese food we ever had. It was cold, noodles were not cooked and the food all seemed as if had been sitting in a buffet all day. The sweet and sour sauce looked as if it had been previously used and container was only filled a quarter full. The worst part was that we were entertaining out of country family for our Anniversary and we couldn't eat the food we ordered. Considering the high price we paid we were very upset with this experience.
Tremendous should be harendous! First off order was made wrong! Order an hour before going waited 45 mins extra. Then the food was not good at all. Raw Noodles and hard could make a birds nest out of it. Meat was very dry and over cooked. Chicken balls more dough then meat there. Will not be returning ever! Staff wasn't that good at all!
Foods decent. Service is kinda slow and lacking. This particular waiter is in la la land. Not on the ball or interactive by any means. Everything we needed and asked for felt like we were bothering him. The green tea is very bland and quite watered down. The only plus is there operating hours. The place also looks very tired.
?? We wont go back. Not bad, not good but wayyy better options in the area. Pork was fatty, flavour of dishes just basic. Chicken wasn’t great, chunky. Open until 2:30am so if we were drunk and out late, this may be the best Chinese food we ever had ?.
I have ordered from here a couple of times on uber eats and in store. I ordered again like usual and went to pick up my order. I put my order in at 9:12pm. When I went there at 9:40pm they said my order disappeared from their main screen and that I would have to wait 15 minutes to get my order. I was annoyed especially since I went with pick up instead of delivery because I needed it immediately. I was mad at the way they handled the situation. In most situations you would have gotten an apology and maybe a discount for my troubles. However not only did they just state I would have to wait, they said if you want you can cancel the order. The way they talked to me was not right either. I was talking about my frustration and he didn’t really care and just kept on saying it will come when it can and that you just need to wait. To say the least I was pretty mad. I ended up getting my food at 10:15pm, so 35 minutes later. I am very disappointed with the poor management. Not only that the food was not up to standard. I won’t be coming back here, this was a waste of my time and money.
Tremendous is a late-night staple for Chinese food in Mississauga or for dim sum everyday. I always order their Fijian fried rice with gravy!! You will not complain! It is soo saucy and filled with vegetables. I also got their shrimp rolls and spicy deep fried har gow. Any dim sum is usually good.
Dear OwnerWhen your food is exceptional and out of the world, you could get away with poor customer service and being rude and cold. Not when your food is tasteless, bland and cooked with not so fresh ingredients.To the people who rated this place with a 5 star, I am not sure if you ever tried good food in Mississauga.Never coming back
My family and I have been going here for over 20 years. Friends, extended family... everyone knows Tremendous.Open late, dim sum weekends, pretty reliable in terms of quality.Are the bathrooms gross? Yes. But isn't that part of the experience? Lol.Honestly, can't go wrong with Tremendous. Just wish they had better parking.
