Excellent fish and chips! The portions are large and it's a great place to eat over all. The Philly cheese steak is great! The owner is kind and spoke with us after regarding our meal and made sure everything was alright. That's the kind of attitude that's not seen much anymore. Five star hands down. Support local and swing by this sweet little dining gem!
So today was good friday, I stopped by traditional fish and chips for the first time, service was fast and halibut and chips I ordered were good tasting I found fries to be good but got alot of tiny pieces of fries almost felt like i was getting the rejects, I was almost finshed my dinner when I noticed a big semi long piece of white hair somehow in my food as it was a conflict with my short black hair. I had thought to myself I do not think anyone wears hair nets or hats to ensure this issue does not keep happening. Food was really good but I had to rate it a 3/5 because of the hair in my food and the dysfunctional odd size fries.I hope this review reflects my honest experience.
I recently visited Traditional Fish and Chips a couple of times and tried both the spicy fish and chips and the baked fish with rice and salad. The spicy fish and chips was delicious, the fish and the fries were both nicely seasoned, and the tarter sauce provided was really good- it tastes homemade. The fries were perfectly cooked and the portion size was huge. The oven baked fish was so tasty that, although it is a healthier choice, it still felt like a treat. The prices are reasonable, the service is friendly, and the menu has a wide selection of other items that I look forward to trying in future visits. Definitely recommend.
We've been coming here for take out. The fish is always tasty. The batter they use is nice not too thick and it's nice and crispy.

I usually visit this restaurant as its close to home but on 12/25/21 I was very disgusted at what I saw..this review is not to bring negative attention but it is written to let the owners so better...kitchen is dirty..no one uses gloves ,masks or hair nets...if I could eat hear I could eat in a back alley somewhere..as soon as I got home..I saw hair in my husband's gravy..we were so upset we called and the older gent that answered the phone said that's strange..I could give a free gravy..we dis not end up eating our meal nor did we went back to get another gravy...its not about money or free stuff ...when patrons are spending their hard earned money...u should definitely make the location cleaner and more efficient.

Best spicy fish & chips in town. Have been to this place number of times and have taken take out. My sons also love it. Haven't changed in taste even after all these years.
