The best part was how friendly and accommodating the staff are and that's saying a lot because the tea I had was amazing and their brunch towers were extremely yummy!
My friends and I have patronized the Streetsville Tea Room for many years and we continued to support it with takeout orders during the pandemic. This used to be one of our favourite tea rooms, but no longer. We’ve noticed an unfortunate steady decline in quality, accompanied by a steady increase in prices. ($70 for a Mother’s Day tea? Completely overpriced, even if it includes tax; it also includes a mandatory gratuity.) The setting is pretty and quaint, just what you’d want in a tea room. But under the current management, the quality and attention to detail are not what they were under previous owners. Sandwich bread is sometimes dry (as if sandwiches have been made ahead of time and left out without proper cover) and often the crust is not completely removed (complete crust removal is Afternoon Tea 101 and was always the case previously). Once, in a takeout order, there was a hair in my salad. I threw out the salad, not bothering to return it because I didn’t want the inconvenience of making the trip back to the tea room. We have decided not to patronize the Streetsville Tea Room again because quality is not assured. Such a disappointment after so many years of enjoyment.
Would give this place a 5 star based on the location, true Canadian experience and the variety of tea they provide..we tried Assam and Darjelling tea ..Truly amazing..must try chicken sandwich and egg sandwich with honey dressing on salad.
great food, delicious teas, wonderful service.
Love the vibes in tea room ❤️ if youre a fan of Bridgerton (netflix series) its one of those feels lol very pretty, set up is so cute, they have tea pots to sell as well! Although a little tight seating area, the flavors of the team and scone is magic! Fleshly baked and you know it’s so so so so good! High recommended for those who loves tea time (which is pretty much any time of day) like me!
I've been here a couple of times now and most recently for their Mother's Day Tea. It was fantastic! They have a huge selection of wonderful teas and the 3 course meal was perfect! We actually bought a bag of the loose leaf tea we had ordered. They were able to accommodate food preferences and swapped out the meat items on the menu for vegetarian options - everything tasted fresh and delightful. The servers and hostess were friendly and the environment is quite relaxing. Looking forward to my next visit!
Amazing Tea Place. Very European touch and excellent and polite service.Me and my wife had a quiet afternoon tea on this place along with lemon and blueberry Tart.Deserts were excellent and tea was just amazing. I had olong tea with lemon and Ginger and my wife had earl gray black tea. Both teas were good.Best part was the ambiance and very very nice service.Surely will visit again.
I am glad to have high tea in Mississauga (normally need to go downtown). Food is alright, many tea selections. My favorite tea is Buckingham Palace. You only have 2 hours to enjoy. Very limited parking spot.
The Scone, the strawberry jam and cream were delicious, the service was very good. The salad was fresh and enjoyable, slightly overdressed. The sandwiches lacked imagination and taste. The quiche the same. The desserts - date bar chewy, the shortbread pretty but tasteless and stale, the cheesecake in a tiny tart shell - just shaking my head at that one. The tea pots cooled immediately and my tea was always cold. Which I really am not a fan of. Our table were all disappointed. And we do high tea every 3 months. Will not be back.
My first visit to the tea room in Streetsville was picking up their Valentine’s Day specials to bring home to my Wife ,Daughter and mother in law.The service was fantastic and the food and tea were loved by my three girls .Place looked and felt so warming .I highly recommend pick ups and dine in as it looked wonderful to eat there
