We dined here for this afternoon.. and being vegetarian I was wondering if i could find something that i would like... but to my surprise... i found such great food... we had bolani(like aloo paratha) and falafel wrap... and they were just delicious... justtt amazinggg.. must recommend .. the guy who was taking care of that place was so sweet.. very warm and welcoming... then for dessert we had afgani firni... milk custard.... uff was just amazing.. yummy was all in my tummy!... next time we ll be trying veggie aushak... they also have palak sabji afgani style..Please do introduce more veggie options if u can.. cause the food is too delicious..!!
I have had many orders from this place and the standards get better and better with each meal, the chefs are amazing, kind and funny.Owners are always generous and great people and always going above and beyond when it comes to customer satisfaction!!10/10 this is the new standard!
Not your average afghani kabob place +and not in a good way.) The owner who sits outside on a chair and smokes until you come in is unwelcoming. The place smelled to me like something fowl. By the time I ordered I regretted it when he came in. I asked for a refund they said they couldn't. It was about 60 seconds after I tapped. I can honestly say this is the worse experience I've ever had. I felt trapped to just go along and get my food. Food smelled bad so I just threw it out.
I got here at 8:18 and the girl says they are not taking customers for dine in almost 45 min before closing while there isn't a single customer in the restaurant.Great way to do business, there's obsolutely no art of customer service.Change your time on Google or mention that you are not taking customers 45 min before closing.Don't run a business when you dont know how to run one and make us think that you are doing your customers a favor...As an afghan I was disappointed that this restaurant failed to represent the hospitable culture that Afghans are known for.Too many better restaurants with better customer service. Won't come back !
Excellent tandoori chicken... (KB-4)...Bravo chef!!! ???rice cooked to perfection as well... Staff was professional and friendly... One very satisfied customer here... Thank You ... Definitely recommend... Definetly coming backToday I had The "Kebab Bistro Special"... Again, it was delicious and very filling... I remembered to take a photo before I devoured it?After reading some of the other reviews, I feel I need to say this:-shouting in the kitchen is just something that chefs do, it means they are passionate about their cooking... When Gordon Ramsay shouts, nobody complains...do they?... NO, they pay him big bucks and clap... So what's the problem here?... Double standards much? ?-If Your bread took 5 minutes to arrive, it's definitely not done in a microwave... That's just simple logic... BTW, the bread I got tasted great ?-A hair on the bottom of Your tray is not something You ever wish to find, BUT Hey!... You found it!... Could have eaten it and been none the wiser?... Cheer up my friend, it was only a tiny little one... A hair never hurt anyone... These things happen to us guys, we're all hairy... Maybe it fell of Your arm? You won't know without a DNA test.- If You want more spicy, ASK for extra spicy... Or try a different kitchen(Sri Lankan might do the trick ?)... This is Afghan kitchen, it's very tasty and won't burn the roof of Your mouth off... There's no mind readers, but if You ask for something politely You'll likely get it...Cheer up my grumpy friends... Life is good here in Canada... It could be a lot worse... Could be living in a war zone, think about it?And that's all I have to say about that.
Are you kidding me? This is my go-to place for awesome kebabs. Always order the same thing which is the veal kebab. If you want succulent, tender, flavourful kebabs this is the place to go to.Trust me this place is that amazing. So what if sometimes they’re a bit too busy to rush to your order? You want generic food then go to Subway then! This spot is THAT good! I will fight anyone who says otherwise!Good job, Kebab Bistro!
I was very disappointed with their Mantu as is obvious in the picture. When i called the manager he said that's how they make it but in the menu picture it looks very different and properly cooked with tomato sauce. What they sent me was tasteless
This is another fantastic find, even as a spoiled denizen of GTA!Had been on my list for a long time to try and I finally got the opportunity to do it.Ordered through ubereats. Chicken was well flavoured. The veal absolutely fantastic! I love how attentive they were to my request to package salad separately, avoiding turning soggy.I love the naans, which are definitely not the standard and very hard type found at other more popular chain Afghan restaurants (looking at you Watan and Bamiyan ?)Only bit of request is for paper based containers instead of Styrofoam.Will be back to try other items!
Food is stunningly delicious and tender. Incredibly moist and bursting with flavour, the raisins in the rice add a unique flair. Very impressive food and lovely dine in experience. Try the lamb. 5 stars!
Tried their Kofta Kebab Wrap and it was so delicious that I didnt get to take a photo the first time and then went in to grab it again because I was craving it from how delicious it was.?
