Used to love this place , with their many options and have been ordering for years, but recently I have been disappointed in them.The last straw was this week when I was placing a phone order and when the guys asked if I wanted to pay cash or card , I asked the guy on the to repeat the amount twice as I couldn't make out the total and as i paused to check my wallet to see if I had enough cash the guy says " if you have a brain you would understand the total".I hung up, sorry but you lost a loyal customer by treating me like that.
Went with a group of friends for dine-in. It took about 20 minutes to receive the menu, and then it took about an hour for the food to arrive, one of my friends had to wait longer to get his food. They also forgot some food items for one person in the group, and one person received the wrong receipt at the end. We also saw an elderly couple waiting for half an hour just to receive the menu too. Needless to say we didn't tip as we found the service inadequate that day. The server then began to berate my friends and I for not tipping.This was the only time I did not tip the restaurant. I have tipped them every time I dined in, and even on takeout during the lockdowns. The restaurant wasn't busy at the time, it was just 2 tables maximum and takeout orders. I was planning to come again the next time I came, but after listening to the server berate my friends and I for not tipping, I'm not planning to come back in the near future.I'm sure other people had pleasant experiences at this restaurant, but unfortunately my friends and I did not.
I call to place an order on family day... The place I wanted delivered to is literally a 3 minute drive away from the restaurant. I tell the lady I want delivery and I ask how much. She says you're so close no delivery but you have to pay the driver a small tip.... In my head I'm thinking drivers get tips they deserve. My food comes fairly quick, I hand the driver a $100 bill. He slowly gives me back $5 at a time. I'm like I'm not giving you a $30 tip for a 3 minute drive. He then gives me 2 more $5 and he can tell I'm not impressed at this point. He gives me another 2 $5 bills and says okay I take $10 tip thank you. I wanted to grab him by his neck for being so disrespectful. Honestly that's a good way to get punched out and the food was mediocre at best anyway, hot soup and food in plastic containers that's disgusting. I'm definitely certainly not coming back again and I better not see that slime ball in my neighbourhood again
My family and I have been going here for the past 13 years and the food is consistently flavourful and fresh. We’ve gotten delivery a few times and it is quick as well. The prices have increased slightly but I think that applies to all restaurants lately. I would definitely recommend this place for delicious Chinese food.
I was coerced into giving a tip.I get that times are tough with the pandemic but interrogating your customers over a tip is not a great way to get them to come back.You should let your customers give a tip without demanding it or getting mad at the customer for not tipping.
I've never had Chinese food that's as bland and tasteless as it was at the great work. We had packed food for the family from here. There was a lack of flavor, texture, or anything that could make a meal enjoyable. I was very very disappointed. The sweeter flavors seemed to be created with sugar syrup. The only thing working for them is they had decent portion sizes. I'm not inclined to ever return.
Generous portions of food.The food itself is great, we have ordered a few times now and will continue to go back.
This place has been here forever. I remeber eating lunch here with my mom in the 90s recently i started working in the area. I eat here once a week, the food is fast and fresh. Very tasty and large portions. The owners are always there greeting and seating with a smile.Will return!
Very good Chinese restaurant. The beef with broccoli was delicious. Staff was very friendly. Easy to park. Reasonable prices. I’ll definitely return. Totally recommend.
What greasy mess. The shrimp egg rolls and spring rolls were dripping in grease and old grease at that. The only dish that tasted good was the beef with snow peas. What a waste of 126.00.So disappointed.
