Certified Korean here ?Yeah there is too much breading. Rumors are true, we are still looking for the chicken. Some say we will never find it.Do not try the boneless, perhaps not even the boned ones for safe measure.Fries and water was good though ?
Food = amazing.Takeout experience = amazing.Service = amazing.Don’t read on, just drop by.If you must:This was the first time we got takeout here and we were surprised it came with an unboxing experience ?They made sure the apps weren’t completely covered so as to not moisten the food … probably the number #1 crime almost all crispy-food establishments get away with. And nested beneath the palette warmers, the blockbuster - a mystery box loaded with chicken ? separated in 2 individual trays; airing a dichotomy of flavours and colours. The rest was happily ever after over 2 nights. (Of course with crispy chicken - always try to finish fresh … there was just too much for 2 people.)Coming from a guy who spent his teen years in the Yonge / Finch K-Town area, I can say, with gochujang-sauced fingers, I know my K-Fried chicken. And the Fry does not disappoint.Check them out :)
Food is great every time. Service is quite bad, almost nonexistent. I assume they’re not used to dine in customers, since they do a lot of takeout, but servers seemed confused about what to do with dine in customers when they arrive. For example, they just delivered a stack of plates, cups, and napkins for 8 and we had to set up the tables ourselves. Took about 10 mins of twiddling our thumbs and constant head turning and staring for someone to take our order, despite being the only table there. As others have indicated, don’t be surprised if the owner asks for more tip despite terrible service. Will not dine in again - maybe takeout instead.
Just amazing! Our favorites food off their menu is the half and half (spicy sauce and fried chicken) as well as their cheesy chicken and garlic butter fries!!! Everytime we order they never disappoint. Quality of the food is great, it always taste fresh and crispy plus they are super friendly here. Highly recommended!
? Chicken is so freakin good that you’d crave for it every now and then. Ordered the garlic butter fries and it tastes very good as well. Everything tastes good!? Would definitely recommend this place!
This place is located in a small mall off of Dundas but has amazing fried chicken! The spicy fried chicken with a beer is a perfect combo! The price is a bit expensive but a great treat.
Always get chicken from the Fry, first time getting it at this location. Take out only due to lockdown, but chicken was super crispy even after a good 25 min drive. Prices have gone up tho, wow! $40 for half and half after tax
Tried first timeI would say the food is okay, but place is overpriced and overhypedTried the spicy boneless chicken, but wasn’t spicy at all
I originally gave them 5 stars but edited to 2 start after trying their chicken for 10 times.Korean fried chicken is expensive compared to other fried chicken franchises but the way it is made is bit different so I enjoy eating Korean fried chicken despite of the price. The fry offers free large chicken if you collect 10 coupons or small for 5 coupons. They asked me to notify them if I am using a coupon when I order so I did as asked.Free large chicken I received from 10 coupon was not the one I used to pay. It was very dry, many pieces are almost meatless that I had an impression if they gave me the garbage they couldn't sell the day before. It is very deceitful action. I have been loyal and stick to The Fry to enjoy the free chicken perk but I feel like cheated. I do not think I will buy chicken from here again.
Peak Korean fried chicken! Was the first place in Mississauga where I tried Korean fried chicken and it made me go back several times. A family favourite is the soy sauce based chicken! We usually get delivery since we live on the other side if mississauga. Great food!
