Poor communication on wait times. Was told our order would be ready in 10 minutes today after calling. waited over 25 minutes….it happens way to often so at this point I feel this review is necessary.Amazing food, best in town but many other factors that make it hard to come back.
The Feed reminds me of a toxic relationship, when it’s good it’s really good, when it’s bad it’s really really bad. I have been probably 15 times in the last year and I have never had good service, but I put up with it because the chicken tenders are so good. While there are a few menu items such as the chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders That are amazing, everything else is very hit or miss. Most recently I ordered two chicken tender combos and a fried chocolate bar dessert, we got a wait time of 1 hour. When we arrived to pick it up we waited another 30 whole minutes for the fried chocolate bar dessert and when we finally got home, the dessert was not cooked thoroughly and our actual meals were cold and dry. Overall I wouldn’t honestly recommend The Feed because of the various bad experiences I have had, but if you do go the chicken tenders and buttermilk ranch dip is really good.
Fresh food and super friendly and accommodating service. Filling and flavourful portions. I walked in off the street and they were super helpful and quick. Will definitely come here again. The rancher is awesome
I've been twice now and both times their rotisserie chickens have been delicious.
Ordered the chicken fingers and fries. Came when the order was supposed to be ready. They told me it was 5 to 10 more minutes. I waited 20 more minutes and meanwhile all I heard was laughing and loud talking and singing in the back kitchen, clearly not taking work serious. Got home to burnt and dry nasty chicken fingers and fries. Will definitely not go there again or recommend to anyone.
The sweet potato fries we not cooked and wet. Was a cost of 7.40 with no sauce when called to complain all I got was a sorry never again lost my business too bad when I live up the road.
Quality sandwiches! Whenever I’m in Port Credit it’s a must have. My fav is the pulled chicken sandwich :) sometimes it’s busy so call ahead if you can.
I went specifically on a warm August evening to try 2 of their chicken sandwiches. The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches. Both are supposed to be spicy. Neither of them were. The KFC is described as 'tossed in gochujang', but it pretty much had a squirt of what tasted like tangy ketchup on the bottom bun. The photo of it shows it dripping in sauce. Then, the Nashville Hot chicken was not even spicy and also just a regular chicken sandwich. Only thing hot was the temperature. Maybe that's what they meant, and I misinterpreted. Tennessee does get warm weather in the summer. Nevertheless, both pieces of chicken in the sandwiches were nice big pieces of crispy buttermilk chicken, albeit a little under seasoned, but my expectation was spicy. The fries were also meh. 2 stars for the ice cold can of pepsi.
Consistency is the issue here. I've ordered at least 10 time since opening and one time the brussels might be amazing and the next time hard as rock. KFC sandwich was great the first time but the next two times dry and not enough sauce. Signature gravy is never the same. Clearly the staff working is impacting the outcome of the food. Some standard approaches are needed to deliver the same quality every time. That being said, I keep ordering because on a "good day" it is amazing.
Came to The Feed this weekend as my friends and I wanted to film a video for social media, the menu looked great and the aesthetic was great. The cashier told us to get the sandwiches so we got the rancher and the korean fried chicken sandwiches. It was a bit pricey but we were looking forward to it. However none of the sandwiches were up to par. The sandwiches did not even have a decent amount of chicken, and over half of my bites were just bread. And the one sandwich that had enough chicken was dry and the breading was not really there. Only plus side was the flavor of the korean sandwich was nice with the sauce. Otherwise we left disappointed and hungry.
