Small and clean shop with a large seating arrangement. We ordered passionfruit green tea and it was amazing. Staff was friendly. Drinks were ready within a few minutes as they were not very busy when we ordered them.
Edit: Tried the tiramisu and it was very good! Thank you.Very disappointed. I feel like the quality is going down.Ordered a deroca puff had white lumps in it and the tapioca was not fresh and hard to the bite. For almost $7.5…. Not happening again. Please fix and bring back your original quality standards. Needless to say I threw it out when I got home.
Smooth, flavourful, fresh milk tea is at The Alley! Toppings are chewy and fresh, tastes sweet and amazing. The milk tea was refreshing on a hot day but also super filling and tasty. The only issue I had was the time it took to get my drink. I was waiting for a bit only for one drink and it wasn’t busy in store. I asked for 50% sugar but it still tasted super sweet, but maybe that’s just me and maybe it was actually 50% sugar. I should probably get even less sugar next time then. But overall, super great and definitely recommend.
To be completely honest, this is the worst location anyone go to for bubble tea! I’m a regular customer, and I’ve been to many locations both in Canada and the states, and the quality of the service is completely different. This location has the worst staff, and they are extremely rude, it’s like they are being paid to be rude to their customers. I quickly looked through the reviews and I’m glad to know that I’m not the only one with this kind of horrible experience that’s reoccurring.This is what I don’t understand, if you get a specific drink and you ask them to take something out, their like “sorry we can’t do that!” Okay what if I’m allergic?! Are you kidding me?? I experienced this last time, and the lady was like “well you can get another drink!” Other times I had to wait for 30 minutes to get my drink, and another time my drink was missing one of the main ingredients (Tapioca). What am I paying for? Worse customer service, it’s called substitute, which you simply can’t do.I highly recommend you guys go for the extra drive, and don’t go to this location.
I visited specifically to try the new Deerioca Ube Puff drink, but I was happily surprised to see so many unique bubble tea options. I absolutely loved their Ube drink series! The decor in this location is also super cute, would make a great study spot or to meet up with friends.
The first location in Mississauga (a new one opened by Erin Mills this week!), it will remains a popular location and one of the best places for bubble tea in the city. Do expect to wait a bit if you order in store. Always lovely service here. Tip: Highly recommend you order in advance using their app! It'll save you time, and you may earn points toward future free redemptions of products. My favourite drink currently is the Brown Sugar Ginger Roasted Milk Tea!
The staff are nice but they could seriously use more customer service training. I’ve been here multiple times and it’s always the same situation. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to place your order because for some reason, they just can’t get it right. Asked for tapioca, didn’t get tapioca. Asked for large, get a small. Asked for no milk foam on my beverage and they said they can’t. I understand the staff are probably concerned about following procedures but they can definitely improve on their communication. I also tried to order an Orange Lulu with tapioca and was told I can’t because it’s in the Lulu Series and has orange pieces in it.. but then they suggest I substitute for the Aloe Lime and add tapioca (which is also in the Lulu series and has aloe in it).. doesn’t make any sense at all but what’s most frustrating is that the staff can’t even communicate in a way that makes sense. It’s not a language barrier, it’s more like a lack of knowledge about the menu. Also, they just go on breaks and leave their co-workers to take all the orders while there’s unmade orders piling up on the side. I own a cafe too, I know there’s slotted break time but anything is flexible. I’d definitely be disappointed if my staff left their co-worker hanging and had all the customers wait just because they can’t push their break back an extra 5-10mins. Seems like very poor management at this location.
It was my first time at the Alley, but the ladies working there were very friendly and helped me choose the drink I was looking for. I got the Apple of my Eye drink with the aloe topping. It was really refreshing and yummy ?
Awesome bubble tea and great looking shop. Service was great, fast and friendly, and the bubble tea was delicious. Big thanks to Steve for taking care of us and setting us up for our movie night! Highly recommend if near the square one area of Mississauga.
