This place is a dump. Unless you are drinking enough to eat dog food and not notice you will be disappointed. The chicken must have been thawed and frozen 25 times and then placed into the micro wave frozen to cook it. I can not think of any other way to make chicken that bad.I am sorry I didn't take a picture because this was such a sad looking meal. It had all the appeal of a microwavable dinner and smelled like burnt rubber at a race track.I really shouldn't shame microwaveable dinners because presidents choice could have a freezer and a microwave and run a better restaurant.I can only say two nice things about this restaurant.1) Servers are nice and were fast.2) The coke tasted like coke.
I haven't been to Texas Longhorn for awhile since a location we used to go to closed. Went to this place to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday and had for appetizers the seafood platter and nachos. The seafood were battered and fried and were crispy, the nachos with ground meat, sour cream and salsa were crunchy. The kids had hamburger, chicken wings and chicken tenders. The adults had steak and tacos. The steak comes with two sidings and I chose garlic mashed potatoes and mushrooms. All the food were freshly prepared and well seasoned. We enjoyed all the delicious and tasteful food. For dessert we had frozen cheesecake, sticky pudding and churros which were really the best finish to our meal. Our server Lily provided excellent customer service.
We ordered King Fish Steak on rice through Uber because it was on promotion. The price was surprisingly cheap. When we came to pick up, the employee was kinda rude with unwelcoming attitude toward my friend, maybe he thought my friend was a driver, still, he should have been trained to have a better customer service, be professional. The Food was absolutely disappointing, no wonder why 2 orders for $22. The fish has awful and weird taste like it was rotten. Then we went back to the review on google, there is also another same review. So for sure it’s not us have the problem, it’s the food quality was unacceptable.DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT, or at least be prepared for unsurprisingly bad experience.
Decided to go to the restaurant as website said $20 all you can eat wings. Get there and price is $25. Sucked it up and moved on. Order wings to have waitress return and say the sauces selected are an extra $2. Petty. Small term gain for this restaurant results in long term pain as we will not be returning. When we questioned the manager he was completely uninterested in discussion or understanding of the situation. Wings came with barely any sauce (that cost extra), over half of dry wings weren’t seasoned. 2nd round of wings came out sauced but cold. Side plates were dirty. Only positive was our waitress was good and did her best to weather the storm known as the Texas Longhorn dining experience. If you’re looking for a truly disappointing night out the Texas Longhorn is your spot.
Went during a Wednesday where they had all you can eat wings and it was quite an experience. The flavour of some were mostly misses for me. Buffalo Barbeque tasted like ketchup, "Suicide" was not that spicy in my opinion and it was sour, the honey garlic was good, but made me feel nauseous. The service was somewhat slow, even with getting the bill when my table was basically the only one there. Though, the server was nice and attentive.
Ordered 7 piece chicken fingers for $17 and they came out 30min later, burnt/overdone. Our waitress was the bartender, not taking much care of us and others on main floor.Update:they wouldn't credit us the chicken fingers and any other compensation because this review was posted before the bill came (which took 15min just to get). Customer service was terrible!
Avoid this place. Table dirty. Ask for a wipe down. Waitress sprays table with bleach while we are sitting there. Nasty bleach smell for 5 minutes. My clothes? Waitress was friendly. Old school nachos were good. "Medium" rib eye served rare and cold. Flank steak tasted and smelled rancid. Manager says steak is perfectly fine. " Its the marinade". 4 customers know past due beef. Manager came out to win a fight rather than listen to a problem. Either way, either you are serving bad meet or your marinade smells and tastes like rancid meat. Served new plate. Bathrooms dirty and broken. I dont expect to have to pick up toilet paper from roll on floor when paying $40 for a steak. This restaurant is dying. The food quality is bad, the apathy is worse. Terrible customer experience
Always good service, good food and good company
Wonderful experience dining-in at Texas Longhorn. Large portion sizes, 2 sides with Entree and nice selection of beer. Ribs sauce is one of its kind and hint of smokiness, loved it. Wings were so crispy and flavour was nice with seasoning.Overall a wonderful experience in heart of city. Lot to try for next time and more to come.PS. Must try that fried/crispy onion, forgot the name in menu ?I wish I could take pictures but forgot once food arrived ?
Longhorn has always been my personal favorite, planned to have a family reunion here , I'd say it went way better than I expected it to be , the service was exceptional, we all were so happy we ate more than we could , the food was finger licking good. Such an amazing blend of professionalism with a warm touch.
