Food was meh at best …. Eggs were too runny , potatoes were cold and worst of all was watching one of the wait staff barf/gagging in the sink beside us . I won’t go back ….
How nice to have such a great choice of dishes for breakfast, sautéed potatoes and not fries (no fried food !), perfectly cooked eggs, and all with locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. Plus very nice staff. :-D
I’ve been here a few times and every time it gets worse and worse. I went and the food took forever to come even though it wasn’t busy at all, the food was cold but the plates were hot because the cooks were letting our food sit under a hot light as they were cooking the rest of our food. The waitress then let it sit under the light even though it was done and served other people’s food first. We have always had to ask for coffee refills which is ridiculous. Also idk how hard it is to make a pancake cause one of my pancakes looked disgusting and it was soggy lolAlso give these poor kids a break room, why am I sitting at a table beside the workers who are on their break. It’s ridiculous.
Classic breakfast spot with decent prices and lots of seating inside. Lots of parking in front of the restaurant.
This is my second review of this dump.The staff and management are unprofessional and devious.The food is terrible.Do yourself a favour and avoid Sunset Grill at all costs.Don't listen to theirReplies about how they make things right because they certainly do not
This place is amazing, they have great taste, fresh and delicious. The egg breakfast is at good price, enough quantity and the best part is the quality of everything they serve. It is a best place to enjoy quality food and the customer service of the staff is best
The waitress was great (can’t complain about service) but the food and coffee was by far the worst food/coffee I have ever been served at a breakfast place. The coffee tasted like dirty water, every single thing was over cooked including an omelet, but not the toast. When we complained about the toast being soggy they brought new toast that was instead burnt. The tomatoes were soggy, yellow and unappetizing. Definitely not a great way to start your day. Expected a lot better from this chain location as this chain is one of my favourites.

My favourite Sunset grill location! Very clean, friendly staff. Have all the favourite on the menu. Owner is very friendly, personable and visible and on the front line. Have never had a poor experience here! Great spot for breakfast!
We were immediately seated as soon as we walked in. The server was attentive and amicable. Our food was very good. The eggs, potatoes, toast and hash was good. The Eggs Florentine, the kid's breakfast and the Avocado toast were also very good. We ended up spending a total of $64 (CA).
