I ordered the friend chicken, rice and beans, plantains and festivals. The chicken portion was large big pieces, lots of meat but the breading was very salty and tasted like chicken stock. The rice and beans were OK. The plantians were burnt and had a smokey taste. The festivals were alright. I felt disappointed. All the other orders I've had from them in the past were fantastic. The server was very polite and friendly. The place itself looks disheveled and messy. What's with all the big sings about Refunds?
Pretty good place, tastes good and decent sizes.The bbq chicken is good, Probably the best on the menu. The jerk chicken is nothing special.Sizes are average, thats why it’s good for BOGO deal.
Husband went and purchased two large soups very disappointed for a Caribbean restaurant.Tasted like the worst can soup ever food and red beans was under cooked just plain a disgrace never again.please people if you want good food don’t go there don’t waste your money Burger King would have done better
I think the server needs to be retrain, she use the same Culinary to serve us the fish and chicken which had bbq on it, and she took my order with so much attitude. Doesn't even deserve a star.
Ordered two large food and amount of rice in the large is the same as amount as the small and on top of that I didn't get any veggies or fork with my order. Complete waste of money.

Good place to get delicious Caribbean food! Optimal to go in and out to grab some food to bring home or back to work to eat. Service is quick, staff are very organized, and food is well stocked.Their menu gives you the option to get a value meal (one tiny styrofoam box) or full meal (longer styrofoam box that comes with coleslaw or steam veg). Each meal comes with the option of plain rice or rice and beans. We've ordered the jerk chicken, BBQ chicken, fry chicken, oxtail and stew chicken. The oxtail gravy is pretty delicious and compliments the dry rice/beans for the meals. Reasonable prices and really delicious food!
I’ve been looking for a Caribbean restaurant around the area and I am so happy this place opened up. Cheap and easy lunch to grab and so hearty and delicious! I usually get the Jerk Chicken with rice and peas and it always hits the spot. I also get a side of patty all the tome for a snack in the afternoon and its always such a great treat haha
I won't be going back to this one. The rice was soggy, there was barely any food on the packet. The rice had a funny after taste like it was burnt. The plantain was dry and also had a smoky after taste. I couldn't finish it and threw it away. ?I live in Guelph so unfortunately I couldn't just drive back to return it but I was very disappointed. I love sunrise but this one has been a bad experienc. So disappointed. The one star is because the Oxtail was okay.
