Always very clean and neat. Very well organized. Lots of friendly and helpful staff. Highest quality foods. Great historical shop. Proud to have a store like this nearby.

I am writing for the other Starsky on Dundas. I made a review but decided to give them another chance, I regret it. The chicken sausage that I bought were in contact with the pork sausage. They tasted like pork. To have the taste of pork means that they were in contact for a long time (not fresh...) . Please have some standards, people can get sick if you keep selling bad products, we are not in Poland...

Always a joy to go to Starsky's. Love love love their variety of so many products. Great deli and cheese counters, the most fresh produce, and quality meals. We don't go everyday but it is our go to place when we want something special in any department. Staff are always kind.

Overall I like the store. However, I was stopped by security and I was told that I cannot go inside because I had a backpack with me. Apparently it's a storewide policy that is in force at all locations. It reminds me of rules in 3rd world countries. I will avoid the store unless there is an urgent need to go buy something while leaving my backpack at customer service counter. Disappointing. Interested to hear justification for this policy from the management. To my knowledge, no other stores prohibit backpacks.

Great products, but very frustrated that many customers and even the occasional staff member were not wearing masks properly. I’ll be hesitant to shop here again.

Generally good store with great selection of deli cheese and polish products . However I do not like when almost one hour before closing the staff stars cleaning shelves with veggies fruits . 30 min they start to cover all meats . At one point 25 min before closing a young girl put a nasty comment about me shopping last minute . I told her we still have 25 min and I think she still should be working . Another minus is when they slice cheese and each slice is covered with a thick paperBasically you pay for a paper . With deli is better because they use thiner paper.I always ask no paper between.especially when I buy prosciutto or cheese. Thicker slices will do .

Clean store, nice interior, most produce available, and a high variety of products. Cafe with kitchen on site, travel agency on site, and eye doctor on site. Another kitchen inside the store that sells warm food, and a bakery that sells lots of eastern European baked goods. Big selection of cold cuts and probably one of the biggest selections of international cheeses. You could buy everything you need in terms of food in this one store. Also, store is located at a plaza with nearby banks, dentist, restaurants, cafes, and other stores and business. Very convenient location in order to complete several errands in one go.

Nice and clean, It's a European grocery store with everything you need. From Meat, cooked food to deli and cheeses. Fruits and veggies, to desserts. They have it all, what I like is they have meat already marinated for you in vacuumed sealed bags and all you have to do when you get home is BBQ! I got 2 Chicken kabobs and 2 Lamb Kabobs. Perfect for a quick meat, just add a salad to that.

I always thought this place was a grocery store but i was told they actually serve hot lunch so I tried it. Surprisingly they have a very large selection of hot and cold food for take-out lunch. For $7 I walked out of there with tons of food. they have rice, chicken, cabbage dishes that are Authentic East European dishes, they also have fish and pork and all kinds of cold salads. Fresh baked goods as well just next to the hot table. Good food and will come back to try other items.

As a deli style grocers Starsky's reigns as the King. Incredible selection of meats and cheeses and the biggest selection of mineral waters I have ever seen. A lot of Eastern European foods. Prices are also very competitive. I've added a photo I took in at the height of covid in march 2020 As you can see I had the place to myself. The only thing they were out of was flour and toilet paper. :-)
