Went on the patio with friends, they placed us up right next to the sound system which was next to the band so i dont understand the placement too much. It was so loud, our ears started to hurt. We couldn’t even talk. We saw other empty tables and asked to be moved, waiters just ignored us or told us to deal with it. Note im also deaf with help of hearing aid but my friends are hearing. If its hurting a deaf person ears, thats a bad sign. Ive ordered the duck bread with pear, cause i wanted to have an open mind. It was such a awkward combo, it was not pleasant nor smelled great. I didnt take more than 2 bites cause it was so gross. My buddies also tried it, same result. Also, Spanish and Mexican cusines/cultures/dishes are very different so it was confusing when the menu labels this to be spanish or mexican… when it isnt. My friend is from mexico and was very confused
Had drinks and some tapas last night with a couple of friends, great food and service. We were there at 7 and it was fairly quiet so it was nice to enjoy the evening and each other’s company, it had been two years since we had dinner out together. Again it was pretty well perfect thanks
Great food and staff. Had the chance to chat with the owners during a recent event, they were great. Can't wait to come back.
Food is great. Cozy ambience. Not so busy but that’s what I like
I was looking forward to a great night reacquainting with friends. However, the host and server were full of bad service and attitude. A host should greet the customers and be welcoming, instead he was rude and fully of attitude. B. The late night server was horribly confused about taking an order of a pitcher of beer and shots, then she didn't even know how to split the bills. When I tried to clarify it for her (we only needed three bill) she was once again confused and tried to blame me for her confusion and mistakes. She blamed me repetitively too. We had the money to pay out and it was obvious we wanted drinks..... Her bias read of customers ruined the mood of the atmosphere. Plus the fact that the washroom is in a different building, badly lit and two unisex washrooms. There should be security or a bathroom host to make sure things are safe. What happened to quality service?
Had a great experience at Spice - love the patio, service and food. We had the meatballs and tacos both of which were really delicious. Fast service and a great atmosphere - however, although the food was tasty the portions were very small and if one is hungry you would need to order 2 tapas which were on the pricy side and ended us costing us more than if we had an entire meal elsewhere and even with 2 servings it was still less in portion size than an entire meal but cost a lot more so from a cost perspective I had to take away a point. If you are looking for a light snack and drink I highly recommend but if you want a more substantial meal suggest you go elsewhere.
A nice and cozy tapas lounge with a good variety of food. The PEI mussels were my favourite thing on the menu but the short ribs we had were overcooked and very tough to eat.
Best food in Port Credit, and also best patio in Port Credit!
If I could give one star I would. My friends and I were at the bar and the owners came and chatted us up and offered us drinks on the house. We therefore accepted and continued on with our night. At the end of the night, our bill came and realized we were charged for the drinks we never ordered. When we confronted the owners about why we got charged for the drinks they offered on the house, they dismissed us and proceeded to tell us that it wasn’t their problem. Honestly. The worst experience ever. I would not advise anyone to part take in this scam oriented establishment
