Discovered this Hidden Gem after a friend recommended this. The restaurant inside itself is very well-maintained and has a very nice atmosphere. The fried chicken as well as some other dishes on the menu are halal. The waiter who served us was very friendly. I liked the original chicken more as the seasoned chicken was a little too sweet for me. There are booths inside the restaurant where u can sit and press a button on the table to call the waiter. The booths have a curtain that you can pull all the way and close it for privacy if you want to.
We tried a variety of items and pretty much everything was phenomenal! Their fried chicken, kimchi fries, hotpot, pancakes, dumplings, rice and black bean noodles were all sooo good. It’s rare to find a halal Korean spot so I would highly recommend this restaurant. There are a few items on the menu that are not halal, so it’s good to let them know in advance that you’re only looking for halal. Each seating area is private and you can pull a curtain over so your group has more privacy. Excellent customer service too. The server was very nice and so fun to talk to; he made the whole experience even more memorable! Just a note that we went on a weekday and were able to find a table, but they mentioned that they typically take reservations.
Good food! I tried many jajangmyeon and they all tasted bad, I gave the dish one last try when I visited here and I have been converted! It was great! The other dishes were also tasty, but their chicken is a bit underwhelming compared to other korean fried chicken places nearby. They give free refills on the sides once, gives you a water pitcher, and has a button to call waiters for the bill or just service. The seating is in its own private area so it is great!
Ordered the fried chicken and a spicy pork and tofu soup. Soup was delicious! Fried chicken however was a bit disappointing though as the batter was a bit light and not too crispy and the “seasoned” sauce tasted more like spicy ketchup than anything really Korean. However the meat was extremely juicy and tender. And I can really appreciate that the fried chicken was boneless.
Absolutely amazing place and Korean food. We ordered the beef short ribs (a must try), the Korean seasoned fried chicken and some Soju. The server was really friendly and even gave us a discount. I will definitely be coming back. Great hospitality, even better food!
Great service! Very friendly owner who made the experience memorable. The honey garlic chicken was the best. Also ordered the corn cheese and seasoned chicken. The decor was very cute and private! There was free wifi available.
We’ve been looking for Halal Korean food for so long and this is an amazing one. Food is great, the staff is so friendly and thoughtful. We’ll come back again and recommend y’ll to try their food here.
Absolutely amazing place. The lady who served us, I believe she is the owner, was super sweet and kind. The food was amazing and very fresh. The chicken was very well cooked. My fiance and I genuinely enjoyed the quietness and the ambience of this restaurant. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back here again. We come all the way from Hamilton for this! Plus it is Halal!
This place is truly a hidden gem. First off, the service was amazing! Our server was extremely attentive, gave helpful recommendations and had the best sense of humor. The food was delicious and the portions were healthy. For what you get, I definitely say it's very reasonably priced. I also loved how private the dining experience was. At the time of writing this, mask mandates in Ontario were dropped, but staff had the courtesy to wear masks and sometimes gloves while being with customers, which made me feel safe and respected (you never know someone's personal health situation). My friends and I will definitely be returning. Best Korean food I've had in years.
Very comforting Korean food. The whole separate cabin for each table is great for private dinners. Each table is provided with a button if you want service since you'll not be able to see and call the waiters.
