5/5 customer service!Just came here for breakfast with my girl today for the first time. I ordered the Steak Benedict it was delicious and cooked to the right temperature which I asked for which was medium rare.Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant.. She always kept my coffee full. :)Overall a very good breakfast place which I recommend! ?For those that don't know. You have to order first, pay, than you get the food when you sit down.
I was skeptical when I first saw this diner pop up on google maps but I’m glad I gave this place a try. The vibe of the whole place was exceptional and felt like a pleasant trip back in time. The service was exceptional and the lady at the register made me feel welcomed and like family.Service aside, the food is delicious. I had the Hen house skillet and it was cooked ti perfection and serving size was quite generous. I would highly recommend for good food and a big hit of nostalgia if diners were your style back in the day.I look forward to going again!
Was working nearby and felt like eating a big, lumberjack breakfast at a greasy spoon, and this place was just what I was looking for.The peameal was great - as a Montrealer it's a novelty for me - and so was the rest of the plate. Service was a little slow, they were short on staff, but friendly and apologetic so no problem. Most customers seemed to be regulars, I'd be one too if I lived closer.
Wait wasn't too long and they gave us a menu to think while we were waiting. I had the steak and eggs (comes with toast and homefries) with pancakes. I found myself trying to critique them but to no aval. Everything was perfect. Steak was an amazing medium rare, eggs were fried and no run. Pancakes were fluffy and sprinkled with powder. Homefries were also cooked to a nice crispy texture. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Too bad I already finished the leftovers. I also really love the customer service we were greeted when we came in, approved to a bigger booth when we asked and they thanked us for our time as we left.
We love eating here! We are so happy that they were able to reopen up after all the COVID-19 shutdowns. The owner is amazing, she is such a sweetheart. She always remembers everyone and tries her best to make each individual experience awesome for everyone. Nothing is ever too big or too small of an issue. Her team is always friendly and nice! We love eating here for a nice home cooked breakfast!
Nice inexpensive breakfast place. Friendly staff and good food. They are busy Sunday morning so get there early. You cannot book a table. We had a 15 minute wait time. Need a bit of work on service and Hygiene. In all I would reccomend it for an casual breakfast place.
Came for breakfast, great menu with both standard fare and some unique offerings I have not seen anywhere else. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was enjoyable, hash browns were exceptionally fluffy, my coffee mug never went empty.If you are looking for a warm, filling, tasty start to your day, then you better start here.
Been coming here for over 20 years with my parents and now children. They've recently reopened after a hiatus during covid, but same family and great food. Quantity and quality while homey and genuine. As for the last negative review, you have to be super petty to go out of your way to judge and review a hard working business from 1 experience compared to the many over the years. Restaurants have all been shortstaffed and overworked, buddy. Anyhow, 100% give this spot a chance. Alway consistent with lots of love.
This place is my favourite for a delicious breakfast. The customer service is amazing! The owner are nice and always are there for give you the best service!
