it was really good. the fried chicken is huge! i was with 2 of my friends and all 3 of us can eat a lot so we managed to finish.

Absolutely appalling. I ordered take-out and this is the quality/quantity of food that you get. 20 for the chicken and 25 for the seafood pancake before taxes. The pancake is wafer thin and the chicken is exceptionally overcooked so much that you can't even taste the chicken. Took the photo of the pancake after taking a small slice, but that doesn't affect the review. A "bright" spot was that they included octopus but no other seafood in the pancake, but the octopus was so incredibly chewy it's not even worth mentioning.

Quick service and food was great!Yangyum chicken came in big pieces, kalbi tastes good and so was bibimbap. Omurice with house sauce (+ shrimp) is my favorite but might be too sweet for some.

Came here for the very first, and my Dad tagged along! We ordered the Original Pork Bone Soup, Sikgaek Japtang Ttokbokki, and Shrimp Omurice! All dishes were made to order, served quick and to perfection ♥️All had their wonderful unique flavours that stood special on their own but complimented everything else. The portion sizes are perfect to share, or for someone who can handle it all!My favourite part is how they served the Ttokbokki as it came out on its own burner and in its own pot!The server who helped us who I believe may have been the chef/owner, was the sweetest most accommodating individual. The food was absolutely worth the time and money, and I can’t wait to try their hot pot next!

4.5 stars Very nice cozy korean restaurant, a block from Mississauga Chinatown. Food was fantastic, big portions, great service. Only downside was that the table was a bit small, and we had to sit elbow to elbow.

I’m torn. I’ve visited Sikgaek pre-pandemic and I thought the food was amazing when we dined in. Taste, quality and portion sizes would have received a 5 stars from me and we were quite happy returning again.Fast forward to tonight - we decided to pick up our order and eat it at home. We ordered 1 Japchae ($16.50) Pork Belly Galbi ($36), corn cheese ($11) and Joseph Chicken ($26)…. A total of $100+ dollars for 4 dinner dishes. At first I thought “okay… that’s fine. From my recollection they had great portion sizes when we last dined in”. I was sadly mistaken. The attached picture is the entirety of our $100 order. It does look appetizing. Taste-wise it was okay considering we drove it home and it wasn’t fresh out of the kitchen. But damn the portioning for take out was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. I cannot believe I paid $11 for a tiny take out container of corn. Literally half a can of corn cost me $11. I should have just made the cheese corn myself at home. And $36 for half a container of pork belly?!?! I feel robbed. We will probably give it one more try by dining in…but if the portioning for food is the same as their take out we are probably not going to return.

Food is beyond awesome! We tried corn cheese, omurice-Takoyaki and Chicken Hot plate.I really love Omurice-Takoyaki. Gravy had a hint of sweetness and Egg was perfect! Takoyaki was mind bowing! For anyone who doesn't like sweetness, this might not be the first choice.Had Private area for us and seperate button to order food. Really love the concept!Friendly staffFree parkingHighly recommended

First time eating here during the pandemic. We didn’t need a reservation and we were able to walk in. They had a temperature scanner at the door and you fill in a survey before you’re seated. We got the cheese plate for 2 with the chicken, steamed rice and My honey Korean fried chicken. The portions for the cheese plate can feed up to 4 people. It was really generous and had it for a meal the next day. The Korean fried chicken was super crispy and we enjoyed the sweet and salty flavour to it.The service was really attentive and polite. I’d love to try their other dishes in the future! I didn’t give five stars due to the fact there’s always room for improvement and it was my first visit in over 3-4 years.

Went here at around 9:00pm with a couple of friends for a late-night dinner. To begin, we were served in a cute booth which was private from the rest of the restaurant. Although there are tables that are more akin to a traditional dining experience, our booth (among others) provided a nice private getaway meal from the bust city life. The staff served as well despite their tiredness. They were a little rude, but they should definitely get a pass since they seemed exhausted as it was the end of the day, near closing. We were served promptly and in an efficient manner. The food was great, including the rice cakes and spicy pork dish that I had. Everyone enjoyed their main course dishes, however the fried chicken was a little on the drier side and the Yangyum sauce didn't help either. Overall, an excellent experience, but maybe avoid the fried chicken. Would recommend!

We very enjoyed our lunch with our pork bone soups w/ either rice or noodles. The soup was very tasty. Just loved it. The set up is very good with those private division and call bell. The wall decoration is simple but good works P.S. This restaurant does its best to provide a Covid safe environment.
