Absolutely amazing! I haven’t been able to travel to Toronto for three years and where I live they don’t have anything Jamaican or West Indian. Sandra’s was the place I stopped by due to her reviews & pictures and she didn’t disappoint. The curry goat roti hit the spot (best I’ve had in a long long time) and I got some jerk chicken and oxtail to go. The owner was so nice and appreciative of my business. I really hope I’m able to visit again! You gotta go here!

Not the same. Used to be 5 stars in my opinion, but the past few times the food quality just wasn't there and it upsets my stomach... not sure if its an issue of freshness but the flavors have also gone down. The curry are still okay but i brought someone here with me and they were appalled. Anyways I hope they use this review in a positive manner and can improve upon the quality and freshness and get back to where they used to be. I hate leaving negative reviews, please get back to the amazing food you used to serve the community.

Always read about their jerk chicken being great. Popped in and viewed their menu. A large jerk showed $13 but I was charged $16 plus tax coming to $18. This is very expensive compared to Wanda's, Freddie's, Mr Bigs, etc. At first glance, the portion is decent for a large. There is a lot of sauce on the chicken for those that appreciate sauce although jerk chicken is supposed to be dry. Rice and peas were delicious. The coleslaw however I was not a fan and the portion could have been bigger. The chicken had good spice to it and was decently moist. However the customer service was lacking and it didn't seem too busy at all, actually pretty dead for early afternoon. For the price and taste this has to be outside of Mississauga's top 5 jerk chicken spots. I'd also appreciate the heads up that the price is not $13 but rather $16 before I decide to order.

I will start by this: the food was AMAZING!!!! We ordered the chicken curry roti, goat curry roti and a side of rice. The goat and chicken melted in our mouths with a really nice flavor. I will say that the potatoes in the curry were a bit too mushy, as well as more dhalpuri mix in the roti itself. Use that pepper sauce lightly! There should also be an option for plain rice, since thats what we were hoping to get, instead of rice and peas :)That being said, the pricing on the menu was outdated. As well, the term "roti" is pretty specific, since I assumed it would be like the general 'roti' (which does not contain dhalpuri mix as that would be a dhalpuri itself). Not complaining because I got more than what I was expecting, and left very satiated :D

Like other people have said. Best boneless jerk chicken meal around. Best hot sauce. Very hot so be careful if you can't handle heat. With saying that no customer service. Workers never in a good mood. Don't expect a smile or anything courteous. Small changes would give 5 star In a heartbeat. Been going here for over 10 years and same attitude. But I keep going back.

There was a good lineup I figured it had to be good food .....and I was not disappointed. this was a most amazing juiciest, tastiest goat roti 've ever had in my life. I was certainly come back and I will let all my friends know that this is the new standard roti theTORONTO area.

It was a last minute decision but I am glad I made it. Shandra’s was recommended by a friend and now I understand why. Even at quarter to seven on a Friday I received great service, flavourful food & large portions at a fair price! I will definitely be back, oh and if you are a hot sauce fan, the one they make is fire? ? sooo good!

This place has been there a long time and for good reason. Really happy to see they are still open, I used to go here often when I worked nearby. The Roti is still as good as I remember, and it's great they have a shrimp option not everywhere does.

Moved to Alberta, came for a visit stopped by and the place is still the same with the great quality of food.

Unfortunately I have to give Shandra’s 3 stars.I’ve been coming to this place religiously since 2013.By far the best jerk roti I’ve ever had. The Dahl Puri roti is amazing. I can’t speak for the rest of their food because the jerk roti is the only thing I’ve ever ordered. Ask most people who know me, Shandras is my favourite thing to eat.Regardless, the service is horrible. I’m not talking about the speed, good food takes time. I’m talking about the poor attitudes from the majority of the people who work there. They do not care about the customer experience what so ever, and in this industry that’s just as important as good food.Greeting people is an extremely basic skill you learn when you’re 5 years old. I’m not saying you have to put on a fake smile or act extra happy but don’t be kissing your teeth after being asked for paper plates and cutlery, especially since they closed the seating area when there isn’t even a lockdown at the moment. My uncle had an espresso bar and he remembered almost every customer he had and treated them like friends. Shandra’s pays no mind to repeat customers and it means nothing to them. One of the younger girls who serves there was always super nice but I haven’t seen her there for a while. But after all that being said, I’ll never stop going to get the jerk roti ??
