We hadn't been to the restaurant in years. When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the sleek interior with the open kitchen. I like that! The restaurant was not that busy this evening. The food here was amazing and delicious. Lobster bisque, spaghetti with mussels. Simply delicious. The only opportunity for the restaurant was to have quicker frequent touchpoints at the table. We ordered a bottle of wine and it took a long time for it to be poured. To pay our bill we waited 15min after coffee and desserts were cleared. Food was amazing, service could be better (our server was friendly and cordial however he did not visit our table in a quick manner after courses) hence the experience score.
Excellent service. Amazing food. Lovely atmosphere. We went last night for Valentine’s Day and we did not have a reservation. The young manager went above and beyond to find us a table. Our server John was fantastic from start to finish. Making wonderful recommendations of wine and dinner options. Started with the Eggplant rolls - so good! The rack of lamb was perfectly cooked and the best I’ve ever had. My boyfriend is an executive chef and Italian and he agreed that his chicken Parmesan with spicy rosé was on point. So flavourful! The cheesecake and crème brûlée were delicious and a great end to a fantastic meal. We will definitely be back! Thanks for making our Valentine’s Day so memorable! :)
My husband and I went for dinner on Feb 12 to celebrate Valentine's day, we had been here 2 years ago with a group of 10 and we were very impressed with the food, service and the selection of wines so we decided to comeback and we were again very impressed with the delicious meals and desserts. Wow wow absolutely superb desserts ,our waiter was definitely very professional and attentive, his customer service was impeccable. Being a former banker I know very well what good service is like ,thank you Randy for making our night very special and welcoming. Thank you again. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for an excellent meal and service.
My girlfriend brought me here for my birthday last month. Great atmosphere, friendly service. The food and drink was beyond my expectations. We had the duck liver pate - which was absolutely melt in your mouth! The Cesar salad was SO on point.I had the duck breast which i will 100% defiantly recommend. My partner in crime had the beef tenderloin which was heavenly (i had a taste). We shared a bottle of Chilean red which was so superb.We would for certain return if in the area - great place for a special occasion indeed.
We had to cancel a reservation a year ago due to covid so were excited to finally go for a date night dinner recently just before Christmas. We had always heard such good things about the restaurant but left feeling very underwhelmed. There was a starkness to the restaurant with no flowers, or Christmas decorations. We were sat at a small table for two with a divider being a short half wall with a planter, with nothing in it, as a separator. I chose a half bottle of wine from the wine list which was unavailable, so the waiter suggested he bring something to the table that he would recommend. When he showed it to me before he opened it, I clarified the cost, and was told $90 for the half bottle. I am glad I confirmed as that was not in the price range that I was considering. We started with a Caesar salad and lobster bisque. The Caesar salad was good, but the bisque was more of a broth and not the creamy lobster filled delicacy that I had anticipated. My dining companion chose the lamb chops listed on the menu at $49, while I chose the osso bucco. Both were very good, and the service was excellent. We were surprised however when the bil came and the lamb chops were charged at $55. Choosing an item off the menu should be done with full understanding the price. All in all, as I indicated, an underwhelming experience, and one which we will not return to any time soon.

The entrees were excellent as well. Cooked to perfection! The staff were really friendly and courteous. Very nice family run restaurant. I highly recommend this place. We have already booked our anniversary dinner in December.
