This has to be worst Caribbean restaurant I've ever been to. I originally wanted to order fried dumplings but surprise surprise they didn't have any dumplings. Why is never having enough food a common theme at Caribbean restaurants? Asked to see the menu and the lady said they didn't have a menu to show me. I should have walked out at that point but hungry got the best of me. Ended up settling for ackee and salt fish and festivals. The lady only had two festivals left and the meal usually comes with three. I figured she would have given me a discount since the meal was short one festival but no. She charged me full price, which was $14. Major rip-off!I will never patronize this place ever again or recommend it to anyone!To the restaurant owner, please take a restaurant business 101 course because you need it.
The place looks dark. Service is not great. Cash only. Got the chicken roti. It was the worst one I had in my life. Greasy, and tasted bad.
Went into potluck meadowvale at lunch, the young girl who served me was so rude with an attitude. I have been coming to this location since they opened and never experience this type of customer service before or lack of. The soup containers was not wiped and the soup ran down sides. Lid was not secure, and rice dinner was less than half a cup. Totally unacceptable.Rosie who is so wonderful, kind and polite and cheerful, was busy in the back. I know if she was out front this would not have happened.
I’ve ordered from this place atleast 5 times and noticed the portion sizes are very inconsistent, this last time was the worst. Terribly small portions and horrible customer service. As a fellow Caribbean I’m very disappointed, Giving us a bad rep

Listen, one of my favorite dish from here is the curry goat. It’s always juicy, the gravy is well balanced with richness. And of course the rice and peas is ALWAYS fluffy and soft!! I love Potluck!
The food and service stays consistently good irrespective of the location. Best Jamaican restaurant.
Such great food. Service was so good. I didn't know what to get and the Stewed Beef with red beans was so delicious. Hidden gem of dumplings was the icing on the cake. Thank you so much.
A nice little Caribbean restaurant located in Meadowvale town center. Did you have your standard fare of staple Caribbean food and for the price and how much food you actually get it’s actually a very good value. As the container that I brought home was packed to the brim with food and if you’re not a super heavy eater can last you two meals which I always appreciate. The food was quite good, though nothing too spectacular but because of the value of the meals I can’t argue with that! As a $10 meal here will fill you up more than any $10 meal at any fast food chain
