I tried Philthy's today, and will never go back. I ordered the 6" philly cheesesteak sandwich, a poutine and a pop. I wish I took a photo of the sandwich so I could show you how unappetizing it was, the bread was super soggy and chewy. I didnt even eat half of it. The steak was decent but nothing special, the meat and veggie ratio were the same. The poutine was edible, but not enjoyable. This meal was $13.99 and it was disappointing. There are so many more delicious options along Lakeshore in this area, dont waste your money here.
The cashier was clueless and was not paying attention to my orders. They didnt had the coleslaw and when asked he refused saying they gotta make it. When asked for the small poutine size he was confusing on saying small was sold out and only regular was there which wont happen. Overall no knowledge of the industry and food. The food was good,only give stars for that.Better taste and service is at southdown location.
Sandwiches are unreal! Can't wait to try the burgers!Had to change my review. We ordered from Smoked Shack because their sandwiches looked amazing. Turns out it was from Philthy Philly's and it tasted terrible. I'll be leaving this review on both stores as apparently they are connected.As you can see from the pictures, I couldn't even eat it.
Got a peppercorn sandwich, way too much sauce. Bread was soggy and u cant handle too much peppercorn sauce... its black papper! I called in explained nicely as mistakes can happen, and im willing to drive back for an edible lunch. They accomodated and i appreciate that
Pretty impressive. Washroom was clean, servings were generous. Pretty diverse menu. Would definitely return to try out what else they have on offer. Not a lot of seating but that didn't affect us much.
This place is trash. The bread is completely soaking wet and soggy. How do you serve food like that with pride? Meat wasn't anything special. Veggies not cooked enough.
Slightly on the higher price for a FF chain, but the taste makes it worth it. The regular is ample enough if you order a combo which I did with poutine. Don't go back to work if you eat this for lunch ? The regular itself fills you up...A wide variety on both the sides and the main course sandwiches.
The prices are misleading. They have increased by 33% and more. Staff was unpleasant over the phone.
Service was okay. I ordered 4 sandwiches and received only 3 and had to drive a significant distance to get my 4th sandwich which they changed from a regular to a large. The sandwiches were not great either. The buns could do with an upgrade as they fall apart and get soggy real easily. However, the steak and added condiments are tasty, and their poutine is delicious.
Had a spicy poutine with fried chicken absolutely amazing ? would definitely recommend ??
