Osmow's is conveniently located 3 mins from the sheridan college's HMC campus. An Egyptian themed Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with a welcoming vibe, Osmow's has a well assorted menu and is competitively priced compared to other near by places. I had the student special for ~$8 the chicken on the rocks by showing my student ID. There is space for roughly 20 guests for dine-in, 4 per table. The student special filled me up very well and was tasty too. They also have shawarma, platers, pita wraps, etc.Whenever you are close by give it a try.
Unfortunately it was a very unpleasant experience this time. I ordered ahead for pick up and it took over 20 minutes for the food to be ready but at the end, I was late for my work so I did not bother to open the container and took the food with me. The lunch special was kofta with rice but it was completely overcooked and in some way burnt. Although I buy from this location quite often but this time I was very disappointed. It could be due to the fact that I ordered for pick up as I used to order in the restaurant and eat there.
I went to this Osmows to try their chicken on the rocks.The chicken was SO dry and not fresh at all.I was super disappointed.Service was not all that either.Will not be going back.
Osmow’s amazing as always !! Tasty food and good quantity.We love Mediterranean food! & osmows is our first choice.We ordered chicken platter and osmows chicken special meal .Entire meal had a mouthwatering taste and chicken was so good.Their salad was fresh and crisp. Although fries were ok and became soggy !!We ordered from doordash which came one time and nicely packed.I highly recommend this place and food!!
Quality less. They serve shawarma, wraps and rice with meat. The problem is their meat is dry and so is rice, wraps and falafel and on top of that they dont add required quantity of garlic sauce which makes it very difficult to eat. Its better to charge $1 extra and give quality product then serve under prepared food
Shawarma was good but red sauce on top is like someone put red Chilli powder mix with water and put on top and i order 2 chicken platers 1 plater have good amount of food but other have very less
None of the staff members were wearing a mask to cover their nose and mouth. It felt very unsafe how they were handling food in the pandemic.
Threw my entire meal in the garbage. Chicken kebab was so hard and dry. Same with rice. Everything covered in a dark brown pastey tahini. French fries in the chicken on the Stix were undercooked. This location is not the same quality as any of the other locations I've visited, very disappointed.
I finally went today for National Shawarma day to see what all the hype was about from my buddies Steady Freddy VanVleet and Stormin' Norman Powell. The Chicken on the Rocks platter was bomb! I ordered it mild and although they only put three little red dots, that red sauce is hot AF LOL. I also ordered the Chicken Shawarma and it really wasn't anything spectacular compared to the Chicken on the Rocks platter. I tasted more of the salad than any other flavour. Will definitely be coming back for the platter.
