My Korean friend brought me here as I'd been looking for better Korean food than what I was finding downtown :). I was pleasantly surprised by the seafood pancake and fresh kimchi in particular. We also ordered the vegetarian pan fried mandu (this one was okay), the spicy jjamppong (not very spicy though), and mul naengmyeon which had pretty chewy noodles which I liked. Overall, a comfortable and good spot for Korean food.
1st time & ordered take out. Food was fresh, generous and delicious.We especially loved the humongous dumplings and the noodles were simple but incredibly flavourful. My husband prefers more fermented kimchi but I like the fresher ones. We both loved this one even though it was the fresher kind.I mean excited to come back & eat in. It feels like a hidden gem.
Easily the BEST DUMPLINGS (Mandu) I have had!This unassuming restaurant is not fancy looking, but that does not matter because the dumplings here are incredible. The staff speaks English well here so even if you don't speak Korean you will be ok.The noodles were good too as well as the BBQ pork.Without question though, it is the dumplings that will have you coming back.I just wish that they had this restaurant in Calgary. Torontonians are very fortunate.
This is my second time trying their MD Dumplings and I have to say these are the best dumplings I have had. They're incredibly huge and very filling. The kimchi from here is also delicious.
Incredible service and food! For dine in, staff follow health protocols (vaccination status checks, masked staff, QR code for menus, dividers between tables), and are super attentive throughout the meal. Food was fantastic and good portion. We ordered a Shabu Shabu set for two people and it was perfect serving. Highly recommended. Tip 1: they have AMAZING kimchi here. Save room for it!!! Tip 2: at the end of the Shabu Shabu, say YES to the porridge! The ajumma mixes it for you and it is such comfort food.
My go to place in Mississauga for Mandu and kalguksu! Went here last year but forgot to post. Every dish that we ordered was well prepared and flavourful. The lady who served us was also very friendly! Would be a regular if I lived near by.
Best kimchi in town. Love the cold noodles and big dumpling.
I was in the mood for hotpot on a cold night but ended up getting the Jeyukbokeum meal instead which was really good, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and plenty of pork pieces on it plus it came with kalguksu that warmed me up. Also got the Bulgogi meal set and the meat was tender and so flavorful! Our banchan was only kimchi but it was the best kimchi I've ever had! I love it when kimchi is still crunchy and not sour yet. You can tell they make their own kimchi and it's very fresh. Glad I discovered this place!
Omg didn’t know such place exist in Mississauga! It’s a hidden gem!!! Their kimchi is freshly made everyday and it is so flavourful. It’s indeed the best kimchi I have ever had!!! Not joking!!Hubby and I ordered beef shabu shabu, we did find it a little pricey, however ingredients were fresh. The dipping sauce was dope!!!! Services were great! If you are a big fan of Korean food you must check out this place!
I rarely comment only if the experience is extremely good or bad. This restaurant is a rare good case with no solicitation of the owner whatsoever. I got the food delivered from Uber eats yesterday.The food is tasty authentic in a way that the taste of every dish including sauces packaged on the sides, are all pieces of art. So simple of noodle and pork dishes but so not simple in a way to make every dish taste perfectly right. The tastes make you can't stop eating and spontaneously making sounds like "oh yes, this is it, this is the taste" that will wake up your appetite and body energy, making you feel that like is so good and we shouldn't eat to live but live to eat.It has been such a joyful experience to eat every dishes, made me felt like I have been treated so badly by all the food delivered all before. I felt connected with the chief/ owner with their excellent food philosophy that they certainly know what they are doing with food. Thank you for the nice food experience u gave that made me felt enlightened. Will definitely order more or dine in.
