Overall very good. There were a couple young ladies working tonight, and they were polite and friendly. I had the chicken shawarma plate and my friend had the chicken wrap. My only complaint is that there could’ve been a little more meat.
Ordered two Doner boxes for me and a friend via uber eats for the 2 for 1 deal, come to find out the original price is $9 while you guys are charging $16 each via uber eats? That should be criminal. I do understand that Uber Eats takes a percentage of your profits, but to charge almost double the price as opposed to yaseens or lazeez charging 1-2$ extra per meal to negate the uber eats fees? Absolutely insane. Overall the food was tasty, but to charge that much money for a dish that already has a laughable portion sizing is absolutely ludicrous. Truly disappointed overall. No utensils were given either.
Wow this is a hidden gemTried this place for the first time on February 17thOrdered a chicken wrap which costed me 12:30 somethingThe size of the chicken wrap was worth the priceThe chicken was juicy and tenderCustomer service was goodWould definitely come backOnly reason m giving 4 stars is coz the quantity of chicken was way less and there were more of the veggiesOverall a good experience hopefully they will take care about that next timeThe bread was freshThere’s a lot of nearby shawarma places but this place is a hidden gem,so i would say you guys needs to try it once
One of the most amazing and scrumptious food I’ve ever had. Would surely recommend this place as it serves the most authentic shawarma that you can find in town.Give it a try and see for yourself, will definitely come here again!!! ❤️❤️
I had very nice experience at Mr Zagros . We went there on family day on recommendation of one our family friends. Sitting area is spacious, ambience is good. Staff was really nice. We dine in there and had chiken and beef shawarmas. Portion size was good. I found chiken shawarma little bit more salty but overall experience was good as we love Mediterranean or Turkish cuisines. Restrooms were clean too.
Fresh pita bread I love their wraps
Where are the Arabs in this shawarma restaurant?Jiminy Cricket that little voice telling me right from wrong. Trust your intuition. The flags were waving as I walked into this shawarma restaurant - where are the Arabs? This is a franchise restaurant - at least 8 of them dot the GTA. I don’t have a great feeling about franchise restaurant. There was a distinct sense of formula that the attendant followed as far as steps taking her through the steps in preparing the finished product, but the end result was bland. Price wise I thought their charge was a bit steep in comparison to their competitors. Full marks for her efforts in filling the requirements as far as her attention to detail.I thought I’d give the place a whirl all the same. There were some pluses in that I saw the attendant prepared the wrap from a dough ball and the wrap came fresh out of the oven. There was a generous heaping serving of meat and fixing to fill the centre of the wrap. It was then toasted giving a nice crispy finish to the texture of the bread or so I thought. The verdict chomping through the chicken sandwich wrap was the meat was dry and too overly crispy, actually overcooked. The filling of lettuce, onions and pickles tended to dwarf the meat. There was a lingering lack of taste that I could not shake especially after having the pleasure of indulging in a rival’s chef d’oeuvre not so long ago in the same metropolis. In a nutshell, I feel lukewarm toward this restaurant’s effort in producing the best shawarma. There are tiers in shawarma excellence and this franchise needs some schooling to reach the company of those occupying the upper echelons of shawarma greatness. This restaurant has got a ways to living up to its billing of being ‘the best shawarma in town.’
Love to visit their again. Everything is served fresh and taste good. Good recommendation for all. ?
Got a mixed grill and falafel wrap. Entire meat in the grill and falafel was extremely overcooked and burnt. Complete waste of money. Called them about my concerns and they just ignored it. The lady didn't give me the manager's contact either. Wouldn't recommend this place.EDIT: yes, please let me know what happened and what you can do to redeem this situation.
The best shawarma I’ve ever had ! Zagro’s is the place to go. The staff is honestly amazing and the service here is hands down the best. You definitely need to try it out!
