By far, the BEST we dined in and did take out. Would recommend the haddock & chips. They offer a special with either a side of coleslaw or gravy and a can of pop. We got the gravy to dip our fries. And the second time coming I did take out for a poutine, the girl at the counter is the sweetest! She recommended to add tartar sauce to the poutine when eating and it’s sooo good. Will definitely be back. I’m just sad I didn’t get the girl’s name! :( also we ate the food so I couldn’t take pics but just know the food containers are empty lol
Got here just after closing hours yesterday. The chef was kind enough to come to the door and allow me to sneak my order in! Really appreciated and of course the fish and chips were perfect. Coleslaw and tartar sauce really stood out from the rest
Food is always good. Usually service is on point too. Not today. It's understandable that Good Friday brings a ton of customers and for that you need to be sharp and organized. I waited more than I had to, as orders from some customers that arrived after me were served first. On top of that my order was short of the tartar sauce I paid for. Bit disappointed.
As it's said first impression is last impression.We were there today and ordered two order of fish and chips and an order of onion rings. Let me say fries portion was small ( not what is shown ) and were stale and dried. Seven onion rings for five dollar were not any better.Men's washroom was filthy and there was dishwasher liquid instead hand soap seems whole place was not cleaned or moped for months.Not worth the price.
I went to Marketplace Fish and Chips for a week day lunch several weeks ago. I had fried haddock with coleslaw and was very happy with the food and the friendly service. The fish portion was very generous and the coleslaw had just the right balance of creaminess and tartness.
Awesome staff. Awesome food. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Only place I’ll ever eat fish and chips 10/10!!
Amazing fish n chips…. Fresh fish deep fried to perfection. Home made fries. Homemade tartar sauce is ?…. 5 stars easy.

Worst fries i ever had in my life. Fish is also not great. I was not able to eat anything.
Cool place right by my house, fries were a bit soggy today, haddock was great. the people who work there are great. I recommend this place
