Most terrible spot to buy food from. Their food began to smell when I opened compartment following two hours even it was in fridge. Whats more, oil was drifting independently on the top, appears as though vegetables are simply tossed in the oil and cooked. This spot is so gross , flies were flying all over, floor seems like filthy from years.
A hidden gem.....Desi swaad.....The first bite of their spicy samosas took me down memorylane to my childhood.A bit spicy but they have an authentic taste. This has set its standard among the best samosas this side of the Atlantic and I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Indian snack experience."Samosa" is a deep fried triangular fritter filled with potato and green pea and spices. It is enjoyed as a snack and breakfast side along with the Desi chai latte.Unlike the east European "samsa" which is baked (especially in Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan) the Desi "samosa" is deep fried. This place serves it with a sweet side dip which is perfect to compliment the hot ? flavor of the samosa. I was reasonably satisfied with the service and amazed to see they had fresh and hot batch of samosas at 2030hrs, when most places have shut shop. They said they were preparing a large catering order and usually have a fresh batch every evening at about 1930hrs.Hygiene : 4/5Service : 5/5Taste : Oye hoye! This place has become my family's new favorite for samosas. At 50 cents each samosas are priced well above the usual neighborhood samosa shop but once you try it you would agree that it is worth every cent. They also have a huge variety of other sweet meats, farsan, chivda and baked products which I'm yet to try.All the best to Malton Samosa Factory.
I wish I could give them a zero star if I had the option. I ordered samosa yesterday and oh my god zero taste filled with oil, extremely hard to chew.No one in my house liked them. They straight went to the garbage bin. On the top of it customer service is zero. Girl over there is so rude.making faces when I was asking the prices and never replied just answered by nodding her head in yes or no. Will never go back. Wastage of money and time.
Better not to work for this person, accusing students for working long standing hours and when its pay time pays equal to nothing. Paying 6$/hr and saying I will pay on sin collective cheques. A bloody family run restaurant serving rotten items to customers such a shame on him. God sees his deeds, he should be behind bars. A culprit of international students accusing them by being sweet first and them not paying them for their work. God does justice. And his offence are totally unjustifiable, no international student should work here otherwise you will be hard working for free.
So I dropped into buy a couple of samosas today, and when I tried to step into the doorway this women through the filthy dirty floor mat at my feet. She continued to sweep the floor and made a point of telling me to move so she could sweep under the spot I was standing. Then she comes by with the mop and samething happens. I had already ordered the samosas so I just moved out of her way and took my samosas and left. When I got home we took one bite and realized they were super spicy. Now we eat Indian food at least once a week so we're not amateurs when it comes to Indian cookingI think this place has a hate on for white people. Extremely rude and dirty little 3rd world atmosphere.
Not an overly pleasant experience. We ordered a few samosas and bread pakora. There were people that were ordering after us, the same thing that we ordered, but getting their orders before us. When my husband asked how come people that ordered the same thing after us were getting their stuff before us, the lady rolled her eyes!! How rude is that? The samosas are insanely oily. I took the brown paper bag out of the plastic bag and the inside of the plastic bag is covered in yellow oil. The bread pakora is mostly just bread batter. It's thick, powdery and salty. It does not taste good at all. My review is based on a combination of service, quality and taste. We've had much better tasting pakoras and samosas.
AMAZING MOTI CHUR LADDUS!. We had an event and order 40 boxes, and must say every guest called us back next day asking where we got them from as they were so good not even the high end brand stores could come near the freshness and taste of their laddus. Great Job! we will defiantly be back for our next event.
Loved the Samosas. Thali is definitely worth it. Loved the mild taste of Paneer sabzi. Gulaab jamun wasn't the best.
I went to shop in morning. Service was too poor . We bought sweets from there . The lady at front wear gold chain ( having R letter ) in her gold chain was too rude . Even though she doesn’t know, how to behave with customers.Sorry to say but I will never ever recommend to anyone.
Had good food for take out and thali was exceptional
