We went to Magic BBQ as a family of 5. We ordered one of their set menus with the following dishes: BBQ Duck, BBQ Pork, Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef with Mushrooms, Bok choi with garlic and a steamed fish. The BBQ Pork and Beef with Mushrooms dish were very salty. It was hard to eat them without rice so we got 2 bowls of rice to share. The BBQ Duck was good and this place is known for their duck which is why we came here. It was sliced and given to us with wraps which was very tasty. The rest of the meat was diced and fried with vegetables and served with wraps. However, we felt the amount of meat that came out with the lettuce wraps was much less than the duck that they took back into the kitchen after they sliced off the skin. The Sweet and Sour Pork was delicious and the steamed fish as well as the vegetables were done perfectly! The service was quick and our food was brought out in a timely manner.
Roast pork was served cold first time I ordered it, next time I was there I asked politely for them to warm it up for me, out of spite the chef who prepared the dish went out of his way to remove all the meat and crispy skin and serve me a 1 lb order of pure pork fat. Some of the other dishes were okay, but I will never order from here again.
Mediocre dim sum spot. Came here for Father’s Day. Spare ribs were really tough and the radish cake was nearly not cooked - mushy and didn’t taste very good.
Amazing food. We had the dim sum (steamed shrimp dumplings, mushroom and vegetable dumplings, fried tofu, fried tentacles, beef short ribs, and the steamed rice noodle roll with king mushrooms and snow pea leaves) plus seafood tofu soup. Been coming here for years and even after ownership change they the food is still great!Only things that made my experience a little less enjoyable was the cracked tea pot that our tea came in and service was not the best.
FRAUD ALARM!Leave away from this restaurant for your own interests since they always over charge you for the take-out. I bought the 2 pounds of chop-pork for $7/ pound. But they charged me $27 for the order. If you notice that they gonna tell you there's something wrong with the scale or some other BS. DEFINITELY WON'T COME BACK!
Pre-ordered an entire roast pig (medium, 25-30 lbs) for Lunar New Year at a very competitive price of $238. The employees were super friendly, and kept apologizing for the wait because they were busy. Who could blame them? It was new year's day, plus they had just reopened indoor dining after the most recent provincial lockdown. Clearly, patrons had missed their dim sum (which looked extremely appetizing, from where I was standing). One of the kitchen staff members even helped load the tray into my car. Would not hesitate to recommend!
Magic BBQ has the BEST bbq and roast pork and duck. They are delicious. On top of that, the staff is AMAZING. It gives me great enjoyment to drive all the way from Brampton to buy their BBQ. The cook is very friendly and always smiling and very respectful - which makes customer service amazing. Keep up the great service.

Went on the weekend, so it was understandably very busy. Wish there was staff to enforce distancing or have tools to give clear areas for waiting. It was much too crowded inside the doors, and take-out area. And outside, there were no clear line. Food wise, their BBQ is great! We bought steamed chicken, roast duck and BBQ pork. All were delicious.
Good place for dim sum and dinner. They want you to sign up before you sit down.Now they asked you for vaccine reports before you can Dinn inside. If you don't have any, you only take out.Good for everyone, I like it
