Went to the Keele Street location today. As always great service, the food is so very delicious. I love you Lena's. Jerk chicken roti is amazing.
Visited for the first time today for lunch. Menu was very affordable and they have daily specials. Ordered their Friday 6 wing special & an x-hot doubles. Opted for the curry wings of course. Spice level was on point, great flavours and textures. Wings were saucy and awesome. Overall great place with good service. Total was only like $8 (beer from LCBO). I will be back.
I tried the Shrimp Roti and doubles.The staff asked the spice level and I didn't wanted the spicy sauce in my roti but on the side and the staff forgot it. I really couldn't comment on the taste without the hot sauce. Doubles were good. So I might try them again but will have to check my order before leaving the restaurant.The only reason I am giving 2 stars because I drove all the way from Georgetown and couldn't relish my roti the way I wanted :(
Lena’s has the best doubles in the city IMO. Can’t beat the bara, seasoning (bandanya, chutney etc) and the price. Never disappointed. We’ve from buying food from this chain for over 12 years. Also. The gentleman working there yesterday was extremely pleasant and nice, in comparison to other doubles places where staff are rude and hoggish
It was my first time there, and I am a tad apprehensive when getting food from a new place. However, their food was tasty: well seasoned. I gave 4 stars not 5, because I think there must be something they can improve on; I just haven't figured it out yet. ??

Enjoyed my first vegetarian doubles from Lena's and it was the best experience ever! Mouth watering and life changing. When indulging in my first bite I was immediately transported to heaven. The sauce, size and price can't be beat and I will most definitely be returning. If you're interested in trying the best doubles you've ever had, this is the place to go!
I have been coming to this place for their doubles for the last 4 years and they have always given me the best doubles you can get in town. The people I have encountered on the counter here were extremely polite and provided me with great service.Today, a young girl who refused to pack my doubles separately was not only rude but one of the most uncourteous people I have ever come across. She said, "We are giving you a Monday special 2 doubles are free with 4". When I asked for them to be packed separately she told me that since I was receiving a deal she could not pack them exclusively. This made no sense whatsoever to me and so I asked again as the staff had always packed them separately. She told me that the owner had specifically instructed her this TODAY only.I refused to order and she calls me back again saying she would do it in a very rude tone. When I go to collect them I say thanks to her for considering my request to which she ignored and gave me a look.That is why I removed 3 stars from my review.I would like for the owners to read this and train their employees to be more polite with customers.Waiting for your comments.
I've been vegan for a year and I was craving a curry that would hit the spot like chicken used to. It's my first time here and won't be the last. Their channa and aloo was incredible. It was honestly better than I could have ever imagined. It will be my go to moving forward for sure. Thank you for making your food flavourful for us vegetarians. Best Channa and aloo I've ever had in my life.
