Excellent surtout le Roti avec le curry et sans oublier leur piment écraser ???? J'adore la cuisine du Trinidad ?
Probably the best doubles I have tried so far. Rich in flavour and everything taste fresh. The serving time is quick, and the staff is amicable and heartwarming.Great overall experience 5/5
This was the first time we came to here to eat. It was a long time since I had Caribean food. We ordered the boneless goat roti and chicken roti. It was fresh and tasty. The wait wasn't too long and it wasn't too busy when we went at around 4:30pm on a Sunday. But we could tell it was getting busier as we were leaving. It's a small joint with a few booths to sit and eat. The roti was light and fresh. Custom service was good too. We could also tell that the customers who were there were regulars which speaks to the quality of the food. We will definitely go back!
Rip-off. $3.25 for less than two tablespoons of fried okra in a styrofoam container as a side to go with my goat roti. Not worth the $20.30.
Doubles - delicious perfect mixture of sweet and spicy!Pholourie - spongy dough, taste a lot of yeast, not flavourful, it's okay.Mango Chutney - not much flavour, taste watered down.Definetly worth getting doubles here!
fresh food ..dhall puri stale and hard ..disappointed
Great place for doubles. Got the goat doubles and it tasted great. The goat was soft and melt in the mouth! Also, their aloo pies are great. They're not enough for a full dinner meal, kinda like a snack. Will definitely try the rotis next time.
Ordered from here today for the first time because I was looking for doubles. Absolutely delicious and the quantity of the food is amazing, I ordered 5 doubles and an extra plain roti bread and I got my mom a boneless goat roti and she said it's the best roti she's ever had not to spicy at all as some places go crazy with the spices. 100% recommend trying this place. Very happy.
Sub par food. I am TRINIDADIAN so I know my cuisine well. This is not representative of great Trinidadian cuisine at all. Normally I would over look the basic food along with the unreasonably high prices to be nostalgic however, the old man (owner) is beyond rude and unaccommodating especially to black as in African Caribbean people like myself. There is a clear difference as to how blacks are regarded in this restaurant in comparison to other races. Whites are worshipped, south and all other Asians are treated with respect but blacks are treated with scorn. All whilst they shamelessly bastardize our African Caribbean callalloo and stew chicken. The Macaroni pie is bland and lacks cheese. Without hot sauce their food is tasteless. Jamaicans where y’all at? Come speak to this rude and outta order proprietor about your JERK and your rice and peas…….wayward people at LEELA’S.
A mississauga staple. Everything on the menu here is good. Family run restaurant and everyone is friendly.I love their doubles and stocking up on the weekend and keeping them in the fridge for a snack over the next couple days.Their medium level is spicy so beware if you can't handle spice, then orde mild.
