Currently sitting in the washroom realizing that this location served me food that gave me food poisoning.I ordered a regular half/half chicken on the rocks. I noticed that the worker who handles the register was the same person to make my food. She used the same pair of gloves to handle cash and grab the fries/chicken. That should have been my warning to ask her to change her gloves but I was too naive to say anything. It’s also important to mention that this location almost always smells like rotten chicken, and that’s also another reason to avoid this location.It’s been 4 days, and I’m still dealing with constant visits to the washroom. I would advise anyone that’s looking to eat middle-eastern food to either visit Alf Hana or Taza Express which are not too far from this location. Lazeez has not only lost its taste but they’ve made it dangerous to consume their food.
Almost got charged 9.06 for a SMALL on the rocks. Didn’t believe I was a student, and this happened like 3 times in the last month, and 2 of those times was by the same person. Ordered a lentil rice, given regular rice. And the rice is hard too. This location used to be good, but I’m not going to spend 5 dollars on hard rice layered with a couple pieces of chicken and garlic sauce.
While I personally really like the place when ordering the 'chicken half and half', gotta note here for the rest of you that they started to promote 5star reviews on GMaps by offering (as seen in the pic) a soda.Might be a free soda, but can be misleading ratings too.Still a great spot, giving this review as a heads-up really, cuz I don't disagree with the place at all.
Could not tell you how the food was actually. Estimated 15 minute pick up time through DoorDash turned into one hour after ordering and paying. I left after 20 minutes (out of pocket) just so I could leave this legit review. First time actually attempting to pick up food here. I always noticed people loitering around outside when I go by other times and this experience was no different. Enjoy. Not so funny anymore.
Not sure if my taste buds have evolved, but this was not any where close to the Lazeez quality from 4 years ago. Decided to give this place another shot, as my regular joint is Alf Hanna and realized quickly why I made that choice to stop coming here. Place like went through couple management change, but lost the authentic touch. On the sticks was a joke, I could have made McCain fries, added some chicken and some sauce and would have tasted better. Can't believe how bad it's become.
When this place first opened, I absolutely loved how clean and friendly the staff were. I'm so disgusted by how unhygienic they are. They use the exact same gloves for everything!! Like I'm sorry, if you are dealing with money, don't use the same gloves when handling food! They touch everything with the exact same gloves they have on. Gloves must be changed with each transaction!
Definitely recommend!10/10 great servicewill definitely come back when in area. Sent my guy over to order food for the crew and They got my own order wrong so I called back and explained. Rania immediately fixed the situation and provided me with a free meal in return for the inconvenience. On top of that she delivered it to the site since we were too busy to leave again.Thank you! You are awesome!
I don't know if there is way I can give 0 star for this restaurant. This is the worst customer service that I ever had. I clearly asked the lady in the cashier for vegetarian wrap. The lady gave me chicken. I confronted the lady and she called her manager. Her manager was giving me attitude telling me that I should say vegetarian falafel wrap. I asked for a refund and the manager told me that they do not want to waste the food. How is that my problem if the lady misinterpreted wrong information ? If she does not understand, she needs to ask. You guys should know how to treat a customer with respect . I also work in customer service. I never going to this restaurant again and I do not recommend anyone going to this restaurant. ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Foods always fresh. Best part they’re open till 4am everyday, so if you’re ever craving on the rocks/sticks your go to spot. My regular order here is half and half which is normally fries and rice with your choice of meat and three sauces which are tahini, garlic and hot sauce. I started getting salad and fries with beef or chicken with the three sauces.
only reason they are getting two stars is because in the past i had good experience at this location but last couple of times have been a miss.its always chaotic in there with multiple lines so checking your order is almost always out of question.this time around i ordered 3 lazeez on the rocks (reg sized) the only thing consistent was lack of sauce in each of them. If i wanted to eat dry chicken and fries separately i would have baked it at home myself. The pictures speak for themselvesi have enjoyed the food in the past i’ll be taking a break for a lil while and hoping after a break they might try and work on the feedback being shared by customers
