We were here for dinner for the second time and enjoyed the ambience, the food and the service. However we had a really distasteful experience - for the second time around! We were told by the hostess that hats were not allowed and so we complied. Imagine how affronted we were when we saw a gentleman at the next table with his hat on! The only difference was that the guest in our group who was asked to take his hat off was of colour and the gentleman with his hat on was white. On calling out the hostess we were told that the waiters find it awkward to enforce the dress code as their tips may be affected. 1) either get rid of this stupid dress code or 2) educate your waiters to use a script that works and indicates that this is the restaurant policy and not theirs. We were tempted to challenge her to go and enforce the dress code but we spared her the embarrassment. We paid the same as anyone else, so why should we be treated differently? We were very disappointed that an expensive meal at a well reputed restaurant was spoiled by an incident like this - for the second time! If you are ever there and see or experience something similar, make sure u take a pic and call them out. This is awful discrimination and has no place in today’s society.

The appetizers could have been entrees. We walked out of here fully stuffed, no room for dessert. It is on the expensive side but you do get more than enough food. The fries were a bit dry.Service was great. Lol, waiter was shocked that my husband was able to finish the Chateaubriand for Two all on his own.

Steak was cooked to perfection. Extremely tender and well seasoned. Had the steak Neptune . Stumbled on this place accidentally and happy we did. Can’t believe first time but not our last dining here. Place will not disappoint. Now my favorite steakhouse in GTA.

I really am not happy to give 3 star to this place but with their very expensive prices, I expected better quality and customer services.Definitely the interior and building is a unique one, very beautiful and eye catching, it’s like you are in an old Royal European mansion with fantastic windows, plates on the walls and chairs. The quality of food was not as good as their expensive prices, although every food portion were very big at their size, even their cakes as deserts. Definitely when you pay $35-$40 for a drink or appetizer and more than $100 for a steak, you expect one of the most delicious drink and food you ever tried. Also the people who serves you, are one of those non-communicative ones, no smile or effort to explain about their menus or trying to make you more comfortable (except the lady who was at coat check).I believe as they have their own fixed business customers, they don’t even think to make other customers happy

Came here a few times before but most recently came for a little work dinner and it was phenomenal. The calamari was cooked sooooo perfectly and the table side Caesar salad was amazing. We all ordered either the bone in rib steak or the king crab and it was to die for. We will definitely be back - also the venue is absolutely beautiful ??

The service was nice and friendly, the food was very good, but not extraordinary, the ambience was outstanding in most areas, except we were seated tucked away behind a dish pit, or wherever it is servers bring dirty dishes. It was very distracting having the loud clinking from when they return the dishes regularly throughout the meal. Having said that, I would certainly go back, and hope to be seated in a more central location where we can appreciate the decor, not be tucked away. I think our Chateaubriand was a little overdone for what we asked, but it was ok. The carrot cake was so dense I wonder if it was underdone. My husband's cheesecake was divine though. Excellent cappuccinos.

Why have I never seen this place? I’ve lived in Mississauga all of my life. It’s a beautiful, ornate restaurant. Dim and intimate. We dined with an outer couple and had a lovely time. The staff were overly attentive - in an amazing way- really just checking in to make sure everyone was having a nice time. The food was delish! We had the seafood platter, generously portions with a variety of seafood and big portions of vegetables. Lovely resto!

Beautiful premises with a long history of being noted for fine dining and excellent cuisine. Our meals were exquisitely delicious. I especially liked the 8 ounce filet mignonette, grilled to medium. Service was exceptionally first class.

It was our 1st time eating at this fine vintage restaurant for Mother’s Day. Everything was superb from ambience, great flavourful food and friendly hostesses. I highly recommend this place to honour any special occasion. The dessert was also amazing especially the carrot cake.

To whom it may concern, We dined at your restaurant this evening. 6:30pm table of 3. It was a disaster. I cannot send this in a private email as when I called to ask the email, I was curtly told, we don't have one. Yet again the reception is less than friendly. I wanted to directly list all the reasons why are Mother's day dinner was horrific. 1. The noise was incredible. 2. There were children running around tables. 3. The service was poor and exceptionally slow. 4. The waiter had no personality, felt like we were troubling him. 5. My mother in law is 90, how many more mother's days will we have, we wanted to enjoy it 6. I could not hear anyone at our table of 3 speaking due to the ridiculous noise level and unsupervised children. 7. It took 45 minutes to get our meals and seated 20 minutes before we had to ask for a waiter. Please don't tell me you were understaffed. You should not take reservations if that is the case. It is supposed to be fine dining and the ad says treat your mother like a queen. Well it was just a sad disappointing experience. A lot of money for a special day ruined. Please respond. Respectfully, Deb Anderson
