This place would be a 5 star if the service was up to par with their food. We usually like coming here but lately the service has been quite dissapointing. The waitress makes you feel uncomfortable from the minute you walk in. No smile just stares and straight face. I know the impression was mutual when a lady asked to use the washroom and rather telling her where it is she decided to point towards the direction like she was a mime. We asked for some empanadas to start and she mentioned they only had carne asada and bandeja paisas... fair enough we ordered what was available. Not once did she ask us if the food was well prepared,Nothing. literally walked by our table several times to be ignored. We truly didn't feel welcomed. We are finishing up and a couple next to us requested some empanadas and surprise surprise- she brought them right out? Leaving one to speculate that is it because we aren't colombian? I'm not sure where we rubbed them the wrong way but it safe to say we won't be returning.
Really good food, but “okay” service & timeliness. A little bit overpriced, the ambiance is underwhelming, & we all (4 people) received our plates at different times making it very awkward to eat.
Loved it. I ordered beef and chicken empanadas, and they were the same Colombian flavor. Even the aji was on top! I had tried many in canada and these ones were the authentic flavor, super tasty. And the chorizo con arepa was ?. Super recommended.
Most authentic Latin American dishes I ever had in the GTA. Prices are very fair for the amount of food and the high quality of the ingredients used. Very very happy with the service, took a little longer than usual but both floors were operating at full capacity and the staff did their best to keep up. The food was so remarkable that any little exceptions go out the window. JOB WELL DONE LA BONITA STAFF. KEEP IT UP!
Went with my parents on the weekend (we are Colombian btw). We have eaten at many Colombian restaurants and have to say the empanadas de carne were the best we've had so far. All the food we tried was delicious (bandeja paisa, sancocho, ajiaco) Very large portions too. I highly recommend it! Que delicia! ??

The places is very small 6 tables, yet it took more 45 minutes to get our food. Like someone else pointed out before, the whole area smells of cooking oil. We came out smelling of it. Either install a better smoke extractor or put up a wall with a door to keep the oil fumes where it belongs in the kitchen, not customers clothes.They take your order and then forget about you till after the long wait. Not worth the wait by the way. Go somewhere else.
Summary: nice staff. Good customer crevice. But, bad quality food.As a Colombian immigrant, I always have craving for my food. Be it ajiaco, bandeau paisa, or a good chicharron it’s my comfort food. So when I first heard about this place I was exited to check it out.When we walked in we were welcomed with the typical Colombian warmness. It’s was nice to have that since our party also included non Colombians. We ordered almost 200 dollars worth of food, and I was exited to show off my typical food. I was incredibly disappointed. To start the quality of the ingredients was poor; the meets were full of connecting tissue; the soups were full of scum; some veggies seemed old and at times rotten. The meals itself were either too salty or bland. The use of spices were way off. And, the food was over cooked; for example the meet was like a jerky in some areas.Needless to say I was not only disappointed, but also embarrassed. I could see the faces on my friends faces that they were not enjoying the meal, and they latter told me so.I would recommend you stay away from this place. If you’re within Mississauga there is a better option. Go to las Delicias. They have better quality food and an environment to match
Food was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommend trying this place, you will not be disappointed ? I will definitely be coming back!!
