Ordered biryani and lamb karahi. Lamb karahi was okayish. Would have preferred more spicy. Biryani was not good at all. The spice level was off, the rice was sticky together and the chicken pieces weren’t flavourful at all.. This was at the Dixie location. Last time I got it from the Brampton location (mutton biryani) and it was quite tasty.. not sure why this location went downhill..
The problem with this place is not the food but the amount of effort they put to prepare it, which is probably none. You're representing Karachi food completely wrong. I'm not sure where'd you get the recipes from but Briyani is not white or light brown rice with no masala at all. The naan were half baked and the butter chicken also did not taste good. I'm sorry but my first visit was my last.
Biryani is alright. Rest haleem , karahi curry sort of things doesn't taste good and haleem especially taste off. Yes there reshmi kabab are very nice. Summary: kababs and grilled stuff is freshly cooked as per order so it tastes well. Curry's are either cooked too early morning or prob a day before so taste awful.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Mississauga. Their prices and food is unbelievingly good. Its a busy place and take out only. Not sure if they have temporarily closed the dine in or its always been togo only. We tried BBQ items and they were all delicious. They give out a good portion of food for the price they charge. There is always a line when you go there. Best way to do it to order online and just go directly to the counter for pick up. This is the first place where low prices doesnt mean tasteless food. Highly recommended.
The place is very reasonably priced, and the food is good too. Great flavors for the price. The meat samosas are good. Biryani was not as spicy or flavourful as I would like.
Ordered 2 Haleem and 3 Naans for takeout. The Haleem just had daal no meat in it. I've had Haleem at various places in GTA and this is the worst. Called and the the staff replied me that's how it is and that's what they have been selling from a long time. Very poor response. I would not suggest anyone going here.
Update: Changing to 1-star as there is no option for ‘0’.when we opened all the other containers, there were more issues than first thought:One container had chicken biriyani (instead of veal) and chicken meat was non-existent. The bones were literally without meat!Naan’s were burnt and so hard that couldn’t even eat.Ordered food for my family and am very disappointed. I ordered Veal Biriyani and they decided to change that to lamb without asking. Not many people in my family eat lamb so I have 2 orders of extra lamb and no one was able to eat their food! And food didn’t even taste good. What a waste of almost $150.
Excellent Food Quality! I ordered catering and the guests were pleased with the food. Chicken Palao from Karachi Kitchen is best in town! I have done takeout from the store and was never disappointed.
Ordered 3 chicken biryani's that looked like it was mixed with an old bach, it smelled sour and had to be thrown out.
So after a long day at work I didn't feel like going home and cook. So I ordered a chicken biryani and chicken seekh kebabs. The kebabs are burnt and the biryani is cold. This business shut down soon. I'm trying to call them as I type here, but they won't even answer their phone.
