The food was great!Comfort food.Curry chicken is a 6/half out of ten.Could use more home flavor.But was great still.There was a lot of peas in rice, I finished the large in one sitting, I was really hungry or the portion smaller. Who knows, I recommend you try it. Tell me what you think, im picky with me curry chicken.
Ordered from here and even after repeating my order twice, it was wrong. When someone asks for white rice, please don’t give rice n peas! I am also frustrated with the slow service, even after calling in my order way in advance. Lastly the prices are definitely very inflated! I couldn’t believe a fish dinner was $25 and then smothered in gravy to ruin it. For that price I need a well fried fish. Overall the food was also too salty! I love to support Caribbean restaurants, but I won’t return here sadly.
I was here in Mississauga for ⚽️ Tournament and decided to try some Jamaica ?? jerk chicken. We goggled searched and my husband and I were impressed with Jerk & BBQ Haven.Their rice and peas was very tasty. Jerk chicken was well seasoned and spicy.The ladies were very good and courteous, I would recommend Jerk and BBQ if you are looking for a great tasting food
The ox tail was amazing! Some of the best I've had so far.The value meal was absolutely spot on. The chicken was spiced to perfection and the rice and peas just hit the spot.Thank you for the amazing meal. Definitely will be back!
This is small jerk chicken dinner with rice and peas and coleslaw with oxtail gravy . Very flavourful and yummy
I would rate it as very good even if it is not the best jerk chicken BBQ store in Mississauga. The food is yummy and with a decent portion for the price. I ordered a beef soup which is better than any other soups you can get from TH in term of taste and value. The staff is nice and courteous. There is always a line up because it is only a small store. You should also try it.
My first time at Jerk & BBQ Haven. I ordered the ackee and saltfish which was a nice balance of ackee to saltfish. Although it was a slight bit sweeter than I'm accustomed to, it was still very tasty. Even the rice was fresh and wasn't dry. Beverley who served me was very friendly and helpful.I will definitely be back to try some of my go-to dishes like jerk pork and curry goat.
Absolutely delicious Jamaican cuisine. My family had the value meal and the jerk chicken was amazing with oxtail gravy, the coleslaw and rice were also very tasty. My family had a great dinner and the customer service is phenomenal. Great food always taste better when served by genuinely kind people.
They came highly recommended. I normally go to Portland jerk in Brampton. I think they are very very good there.Called in advance for a pick up order for 7:15, got there at 7:20 and was told that the order was not ready. I ordered 4 dinners. The lady at the counter had no knowledge about my order.Then i was told that they did not have enough rice and that i would have to wait for the rice.Finally got my order at 7:50.The jerk chicken was very dry and the oxtail was tough.Very disappointed with Jerk and BBQ Haven..
First time getting food from Jerk & BBQ Haven we had Jerk chicken and ox tail everything was delicious and well portioned will definitely order food from here again.
