Excited to learn that Jade Dim Sum is open for in-person dining. Everything was hot and fresh. Good prices and serving sizes.
This was our first visit after the pandemic and the line up and waiting was reasonably long. Parking can be a bit of a problem during peak hours but I think at the back there should be some parking. It’s a small place. Menu is not that vast but the staff are really helpful.Considering the cost of living nowadays I would say prices are ok and the service is good and the place is pretty well kept.Enjoyed the dim sums even though they did not have everything one maybe used to.They also have a freezer section where you can buy and take home to freeze and cook. It seemed quiet popular I noticed with some customers. On a busy day you come to the front and pick up your number and then I observed many stand out but no one comes out to call the numbers so be vigilant on that and keep coming back in to check if your number has been called. They take cash or Interac but no credit cards.
We have been here in the past and it was really good. Today we did some takeout and some frozen. The shrimp dumplings were fine, but the calamari tentacles were not even remotely close to how good they used to be....batter was definitely not right and maybe the oil was used too many times....not sure but for the first time we did not enjoy the experience.
You get what you pay for when it comes to dimsum. It's average dimsum. Good to buy the frozen items and heat up at home. I'd prefer if they would charge a bit more to increase quality and size.
It's the best dim-sum I've ever had. I've tried many places in Ontario and BC and i still come cack to Jade. The prices are excellent and the food is consistently delicious. I cant wait for in person dining to resume.
The dim sum is affordable and tasty but I come here for the wontons! The Frozen wontons they are amazing, compared to anything you’ll buy in the grocery store. If you make you own wonton soup this you will not be disappointed. For $4.50 a tray, it’s a steal.
This restaurant is the real deal. The best dim sum I’ve had outside of China. The serving staff is generous with their time and helpful. The other menu options are also fantastic. Try the Chinese broccoli and ask for extra garlic. Service is quick and great value. This is absolutely my household’s favourite Chinese restaurant.
Frozen Dim Sum sold in bags of 50 or 15 pieces at a great price! Delicious favourites I steam and enjoy at home. Currently, there is no Dine-In available, only Take-Out.
Note: Due to #covid there is only take out right now.All day standard Dim Sum dishes in an inconspicuous location and facility which wholesales their products to many other Chinese restaurants. You can also buy Dim sum frozen to steam at home. Prices you will agree with, as most of the dishes are $2.99 and and others more but reasonable. You can purchase frozen Dim Sum to cook at home. Surface parking. Cash or Debit (min. $20 purchase). #LetsGuide #DimSum #Foodie
Great take out dim sum spot, underrated frozen dim sum spot!!! So good. Love me some dim sum induced naps on a lazy day. Prices have gone up recently, but still very reasonable!
