Prior to discovering this place, I had a couple of other favourites for sushi, but now this one is tops for me in Mississauga. Fish to rice ratio is ridiculously high, even with salmon where their costs have increased considerably.They paid attention to presentation, even though I went on one of their busiest days (Mother's Day weekend).
A new local mom & pop business and it is a Sushi restaurant. What is there not to love right? Support small and local businesses please :-)I saw the write up on BlogTO and I decided to head down to pick up a Large PT4 and the Takoyaki for a starter. Please keep in mind that they are VERY BUSY. It is best to pre-order perhaps a day in advance because they will stop taking any orders on any given day if they are very busy and they sell out. As an example, and granted it is Mothers Day weekend. I placed my order at noon today and my pick up time was at between 3:00-4:00PM. So keep this in mind and be patient and plan ahead.I concur with all the glowing reviews. The quality, quantity and presentation is TOP SHELF !!! It is refreshing to experience a high level of sushi / sashimi etc. in a take out only restaurant. The freshness of the seafood, to the perfectly cooked and seasoned rice which is a breath of fresh air because c'mon folks....we all have tasted hard and flavourless rice before in our sushi take out right? But not here. It is perfect here.As always, consistency is the key to longevity in any business. Especially after the initial opening. Therefore, I will reserve my 5 STAR rating for my next few visits.Please drop in for some delicious sushi take out and let us all know what your thoughts are.
One of my favourite sushi places! ❤️ So well priced for the amount of sushi you get, there's good variety, the sashimi is cut thick, and the fish, especially the salmon, is fresh ?My family is always getting their party trays for take out. They only do take out so make sure to call ahead if ordering. The only downside I have of this place is I wouldn't go here specifically for the tuna, but everything else is sooo good!
As a super sushi fan, I even own sushi printed stationary and socks. So, I know quite a few really good sushi places. However, Hiroi Sushi will ALWAYS stand out to me the MOST. The quality of the sushi , in my humble opinion, is on a whole other level of OUTSTANDING! I ordered a medium party tray for the family... the sushi was so OUT OF THIS WORLD that there should be a planet named Hiroi Sushi. My family and I enjoyed the sushi so much that hardly anyone wanted to talk while eating. We were too busy indulging. The prices are also very reasonable and with the cost of food going up everywhere, let me say, I would gladly pay extra for their sushi. It's truly worth the experience of party explosions going off on all your tastebuds. Hiroi Sushi really should be put in the dictionary as the defintion for the word "Wow." I also appreciate how much attention to detail and care went into making each piece of sushi. This is very rare - like Philsopher's Stone rare. In today's time, so much of our food is so thoughtlessly made and it truly makes a universe of difference when food is made with such positive energy! In this photo, even my pet parrot - named Merlin - was so mesmerized by the sheer BEAUTY of the sushi! There is an art to making sushi and I think Hiroi Sushi are true Masters of their Sushi Craft! Made the family very happy! Delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We ordered Party Tray 1 and this was just the right amount for 4 people. Ordered ahead and it was ready on time. More expensive than some of the other take out places like Sushi Park, but I would say these guys are more creative and appealing. If I had a party and wanted to impress, I would likely order from these guys before anywhere else. Small establishment with lots of busy workers inside. Take out only. No problem for parking or access to the plaza, but they are in the far corner. TIP: Order well ahead vs. immediate pickup to avoid disappointment or a long wait.
This place is amazing, and even better becuse they are 10 mins from my place. Food is always fresh, we have tried so many different tray and we love them all. You can't go wrong with the quality of this food and the size pieces are big. Small place but you can tell when they prepare the food how much love they put into it. We love supporting Family own business. This is our favorite Sushi place for the past year. Thank you :)
The best veggie sushi I’ve had in a long time! Everything was so delicious. I really love their soya sauce, it has a spicy kick to it which made the sushi even more enjoyable. I’ll be ordering from here again!
Hiroi sushi is my new golden standard for sushi in Mississauga. Although the price is on the higher side compared to other sushi joints, the quality and portion size of the servings are worth it. I’m not even exaggerating when I say that their sashimi slices are easily 3x the size of any other restaurant. Not only is their sashimi and nigiri phenomenal, but their rolls are delicious as well. There’s a reason a 5 star rating is so rare on google reviews, but it’s quite plain to see that Hiroi sushi truly deserves it

This is my go-to sushi spot and sets the bar so high that other sushi places don't quite stack up.The quantity, the quality, the value are probably the best you'd ever find. Huge nigiri portions with very long tails. Thick sashimi cuts. Fully stuffed maki with the perfect amount of rice. The rice is delicious too, more on the sweet side. It's very difficult for me to find reason to order elsewhere.
