I would give zero if I could. We ordered Saturday night and it was easily the worst fish we’ve had from any restaurant and this is a restaurant that calls themselves a fish and chips place! My 3 year old daughter loves fish and chips and she requested this for dinner which is why we ordered it. She started eating before I even got a look at the food and she was picking the fish off the batter because the fish didn’t taste good! We’ve never seen her do this before for any battered fish we’ve eaten (including frozen from the grocery store). Once we started eating it, we understood, the fish was really dry. The chips were not seasoned. It was so bad, we threw out a whole meal and I hate wasting food. I didn’t like the clam chowder and I usually love clam chowder. It was salty and not the typical creamy consistency. I will say, however, a pleasant surprise after all of the above was the sticky toffee pudding. I’m usually not crazy about sticky toffee pudding but I enjoyed this one, it was moist and delicious. (Not sure if it’s made in-house.)
The lunch special is really good. The fish is fresh and crispy. The portion of fish is right. I tried the poutine which I think it is good too but the portion is a bit of too much and was not hot enough. The sweet potato fries are also great! We also ordered the clam chowder soup. The soup tasted ok but it is too thick and was not hot enough. Overall experience is still good.
Love this place. The first time we tried wad during lockdown and it was good but the fries weren't as crispy as I like them. Ended up there again by chance last weekend and simply asked for the fries to be well done for my poutine. That did the trick. The poutine was absolutely delicious, the fries nice and crispy, the gravy was very tasty and the cheese curds had the perfect amount of pull.The fish was also delicious. Will definitely be eating here again.
everything needs a bit more salt. fish was good but shrimps were soggy and soaking in oil. the fisherman's platter doesn't even come with fries, but it did in the picture when I ordered online.thoroughly disappointed.
Very consistently good fish. Would be better if they salted their fries/onion rings. Great salads.
I ordered thru Doordash and the order was totally wrong. The sweet potato fries (ordered 2 but received 1) were half regular fries not all sweet potatoe. Not the fish quality we ordered & no coleslaw that we ordered. Not impressed and did not enjoy our dinner.
Terrible. Ever since they got new management a few years ago, has not been the same. Food isn't fresh anymore, and tastes horrible. Best part is prices have gone up too. Does lower quality ingredients cost more?
Not the same as the local fisheries in UK but still does the trick. Always consistently fresh and tasty. Excellent customer service and great value for money.

I have to say, I am not all that familiar with how fish & chips should taste; my review is focused on taste. I ordered the regular fish & chips (French fries). Neither item was tasty. I know how fries should taste and these were not very good. The fish tasted only of the oily batter
